𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗼? 𝗗𝗼 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲? Pretreat gently removes minerals, metal deposits, and product buildup from your hair. It removes minerals even those left behind by your water (e.g., well water, hard water, pools, the ocean water, etc,). This product gives your hair a fully clean slate before coloring. It's a very simple and easy process you can do at home! You don't need to come to me to do this.
𝘍𝘶𝘯 𝘵𝘪𝘱: 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘴𝘶𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳, 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘸𝘪𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨!

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁? Pretreat will remove all buildup in your hair prior to your color services. This helps me achieve more consistent results, can make your color last longer, make color more vibrant, and makes the coloring process easier and healthier for your hair! My recent studies show that unclean hair significantly impacts coloring services and long-term results. It can even cause chemical reactions once coloring products are applied, stemming from minerals in your water, metal deposits, or buildup accrued over time. Using pretreat treatment prior to your coloring helps eliminate the possibility of strong chemical reactions during a color service. Pretreat will also help discoloration you can get in your hair over time (great for my blondes!) This is safe, and great for children's hair too!
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰? I always want to do what's best for all of my clients' hair. Even if I have colored your hair before, simple changes such as medications, travel, water, your environment, etc can impact a coloring service. Even if we've done it multiple times, chemical reactions are possible when we don't fully cleanse the inside of your hair. I want to ensure you get the color results you want and the healthiest possible outcome for your hair.

𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙪𝙨𝙚!
Apply pretreat generously to all of your hair, while your hair is dry. Let it sit for up to 10 minutes to loosen buildup. You will then take a shower using your favorite shampoo and conditioner. Simply spray this on your hair before your shower to see me, it's that simple! No crazy steps to follow.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞? That's okay! I know you may have questions. You don't have to purchase before your next appointment. We can discuss this during your next appointment so I can explain the science behind it. I am even offering a sample size to ALL coloring clients. I will start asking clients to use this after July 1, 2026 to give you plenty of time to ask questions and get your first bottle.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞? If you prefer not to purchase the product and do the treatment at home, that is fine. We need to add the pretreat treatment to your coloring appointment so I can perform the process for you. Please keep in mind that this will add on an hour to your appointment and incur an additional $65 fee to cover the time required for the treatment, wash and blow dry before your coloring.

I professionally recommend performing this service at home. It's super simple, quick, and saves you money. You will get a lot more uses out of the bottle, compared to me doing it for you. (A bottle of pretreat is $32 + tax / the add on to a coloring service is $65 per appointment)

I will start to send reminders after July 1st to all coloring clients (3-5 days prior to their coloring appointment), to remind them to do their pretreat treatment before coming in.

Review from Dee Fitzhugh "I found her on someone's site and decided to give her a try. One year and a few months later we have gotten rid of by boxed dye jobs and let my natural gray grow in. She helped with her color line get me past the UGH I HATE MY HAIR stage. That is when I usually grab the box but no with her help I did not hate my hair anymore it feels and looks great.
