This is my submission for the May cosplay contest!!
My re-creation of The Siren from Chappell Roan’s “Casual” music video
A few years ago, this makeup by on came across my feed. It was refreshing to see such incredible sfx work in a music video, and the bittersweet melody hooked me. After that, I couldn’t stop listening to Chappell!
This was one of my first full-body cosplays involving sfx—body paint, shoulder fins, gills, teeth, and face prosthetics. Not to mention making the costume, jewelry, and hair accesories!
