My Mary Kay Unit! Women who step up!

My MK story started 29 years ago...actually even before that. When I was a retailer for better women’s fashion, I was a color consultant as well. I would help women discover which colors looked best on her, and part of that process was her makeup. I never could find a good line of makeup for the store...one that would sell to me.

One day, a Mary Kay sales director came into the store and plunked down three trays of color while she and her young daughter shopped. Those trays changed the direction of my whole business life. First I gave her a boatload of referrals, then three years later, I gave her one too many referrals and started my own MK business. Before starting, she had invited me to countless Mary Kay events, and I went...where women were was good for my business. I learned all about the fantastic MK marketing plan and met amazing women who were making serious executive salaries with their MK businesses.

Today, not only do I have a very strong client base...I train my MK group. They call us a sales unit in the company lingo. My unit is a group with a heart. They care about each other and are beyond generous with what they do that works in their business. These women fill my cup on a regular basis. Our unit name? Nan’s Possibilities!
