5 years without you.
We miss you so much. It feels like you were snuggled in my arms just yesterday.

Grief is hard sometimes. It never fully goes away, and it hits when you least expect it. I lean on Jesus for strength and peace. I actively choose joy every day, and your memory, along with the hope of being reunited with you again, helps me do just that.

You made such a huge impression in your few short years on earth. So many people still tell me they can’t hear Waymaker without thinking of you. Your little voice singing, your hands raised, your heart wide open for Jesus. That joy lit up every room here, so I can only imagine how much you’re keeping everyone entertained in Heaven.

I’m so proud God chose me to be your mama. I will always let your memory and sweet, precious spirit live on in every aspect of my life.

Lately I’ve found comfort in Isaiah 57:1–2, which says that sometimes the righteous are taken early “to be spared from evil,” and that they enter into peace and find rest. It reminds me that God protected you in His perfect wisdom, even when my heart still aches for you here.

We will always appreciate the prayers and the people who reach out to check in. Your love means more than you know, and you are all in our prayers too.
