Hello September 🍂 Michigan’s busy fall bridal season is officially here and I am SO so excited for it!! Here is a little bridal hair inspiration + some advice.

A few things I always tell my brides when choosing inspiration:

✨ Choose inspiration photos that match YOUR hair color. This is a big one! A style on blonde hair can look completely different on brunette hair. Search specifically for “brunette low bun” or “blonde half up” so you have a realistic idea of how that style will translate to you.

✨ Stay open minded. Bring me the photos you love, but don’t feel like we have to recreate one picture exactly. Your hair texture, density, length, face shape, dress, veil and even the weather all play a part. Sometimes we take your favorite pieces from 2–3 photos and create something that fits YOU even better.

✨ Remember that Pinterest isn’t always reality. A lot of the viral bridal hair you see has extensions, hair padding, ideal lighting, editing and now, sometimes it’s literally AI. That doesn’t mean we can’t use it for inspiration! It just means we may need to adjust expectations or add extensions to create that same fullness.

Extensions don’t always have to mean longer hair. Sometimes they’re simply about filling in what’s already there.

We added just ONE row to give her more fullness through the ends, fill in those thinner areas, and create the look of thicker, healthier hair...without dramatically changing her length.

The result? Hair that still feels completely like her… just fuller, healthier looking, and a whole lot easier to style. 🤍
