EAT THE WEEDS! Garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata) is an invasive plant in my neck of the woods, so I pulled a boatload of it in the backyard before it went to seed.
I’m fermenting the roots for a horserashisy condiment, and kept some of the stalks to cook with dinner tonight. Free food!
Got garlic mustard? Pull it!

Learning botanical Latin comes with great responsibility…and opportunity! 🤣
Fun fact: Botanical Latin is not a kooky term for scientific names. It's the language used for the formal taxonomic descriptions of plants.
