What can you do with extensions? A lot more than you may realize...
Extensions aren't just for adding length. This client wanted to match her already beautiful length, but thicken her hair while adding in brightness.
One of my favorite things about extensions is the ability to play with color, without the commitment of altering your natural hair.
The recipe here:
- Full head of keratin bonds
- 100g, 22 inches
- Rooted hair to matched her minimal highlighting on bio hair
- Brighter blonde ends to make her hair POP without damage or commitment

Weft foundation is key for a healthy extension experience. Clean sectioning, strategic placement, and size coordination is really where it all counts. Picking the right size beads and sectioning no larger than their sized when flattened, ensures no hair is over directed and pulled unnecessarily. The most common negative reviews from extensions I’ve heard have been related to tension, pain, and hair loss which comes from the first two problems! Take the time to make sure your stylist is educated before you make your investment 🤗

We used 85g of hair on two rows of hand tied wefts.

Separating her distribution into two rows was detrimental not only for blending, but to ensure there isn't too much weight on her natural hair.

Healthy installs lead to hair growth, and a positive experience with hair extensions. You don't always need 100+ grams of hair for a major change.
