The key to success::
Don’t tell your dreams to everybody.
-The real truth is not everyone actually wants to see you succeed. Even some of the closest around you will be the first to bring shade. Some secretly celebrate seeing you down as opposed to being the ladder that helps you climb.

-Get focused. Just put your head down and do the work. Yes anything good takes work. There is some suffering to any category of success. You have to be comfortable with a little suffering.

-Critique yourself before anyone else can. Be your own judge but also be your own biggest fan. No one is as invested as you are.

-Let the success speak for itself. Don’t get it twisted though. Success is what you make it. Not always in money. Not always in status. Not always in follower count. Success to me is not staying in the quicksand. Getting up when you’ve been kicked down. No one will ever be able to say I’m a quitter. That’s success.

Sometimes I need a little extra motivation to get to the gym. I’m not always in the mood for it. But that’s exactly when I know I need to go the most.

It’s more of a mental discipline than a physical one. Because we all have “those days”. We all have life that we can easily justify bogging us down.

It has to become a practice where you just make yourself go. You tell that little voice inside your head to shut it.

Breaking through that is the real victory. When you’re done, you’re always happy you went. A better mood, a better mindset, a better feel and a better dress size is the ultimate bonus.

Set your mood and get after it!

This is one place I would go back to in a heartbeat. There is so much packed in to this little corner of the world. The history, the buildings, the buildings, the shorelines, the highlands, the people….

I feel like we barely scratched the surface even though we saw so much! We drove to as many different boroughs as possible. Each little city was like its own entity; unique in its own way yet still connected as a whole.

It’s honestly one of the best trips I’ve ever been on thanks to my mother and our yearly trips. Getting to still experience places like this with her and my sisters is what makes it all worth wild!

Do you want to workout together?

No. Unapologetically no.

I don’t go to the gym to chit chat.
I don’t post up on a machine and not use it.
I don’t sit on my phone.
I don’t occupy space I’m not using.
I don’t go to have a social hour.

And you can 1000% bet I don’t waste time or a workout

I do however go to the gym focused.
I go to train.
I go to push weights and myself.
I go to sweat.
I go to get down in it.

I’m not internationally known, but I am known to make it count. There are few that have shared that space with me for a reason.

Is the floor where you use your abs the most? I didn’t think so. Then why would you only train abs lying flat on the floor?

Our core, aka abs, are used daily in an upright position balancing out the rest of your bodies movements. So you need to train your abs in ways they are meant to function on a regular basis.

These land mine twists are a great example of how to train abs in an upright position. This movement not only works your obliques but it also hits the deepest layer of your core called the transversus abdominis.
I see people doing and twists on the floor like it’s the holy grail of movements. There are so many other options!! This movement is so much more effective hitting not just the obliques, re**us and transversus abs but also shoulders, triceps, forearms and hips!!

Let’s bring real life movement training into normality.
