•We moved from Texas 9yrs ago and spent the first 6yrs out here without any family around. (Outside of visits)

•We have a boy and two girls.

•My life is incredibly kid oriented. I’m coming up on my 10th year of inhome daycare, which has allowed me to always be home with my own kids and meet some great little friends along the way.
•In my limited free time I enjoy things like hearing my own thoughts, hiding in the silence, intermittent sleep… errr, I mean, reading, yoga, writing, movies, being out in nature & leisurely browsing bookstores. 😌

I started this page in 2017 as a way to connect with other parents on the journey and help them feel less alone. It’s been a special place and for the most part it’s pretty drama free. No fancy aesthetic, no scheduled posts…just the ramblings of a regular mom on the good days —and bad.
