She has held active licenses in both Texas and Iowa, where she has worked as an esthetician and makeup artist for some of the most prestigious spas and cosmetic lines. Her experience and knowledge awarded her the opportunity to work as a makeup artist for a national modeling agency. She now uses her expertise to teach other women the skills they seek to look and feel their best by offering lessons on makeup application. Keeping up with the latest trends in the beauty industry has made her an educator to her clients, friends, and family. Amanda lives in Cedar Rapids with her husband and their two children. She has found that, while putting her family first, she has been able to follow her passion of helping others feel confident.
