She has held active licenses in both Texas and Iowa, where she has worked as an esthetician and makeup artist for some of the most prestigious spas and cosmetic lines. Her experience and knowledge awarded her the opportunity to work as a makeup artist for a national modeling agency. She now uses her expertise to teach other women the skills they seek to look and feel their best by offering lessons

It is with a lot of prayer, thought, sadness, and trying to be wise that we have decided to close Far Above Rubies Spa. This has been my baby since 2010 (planning started). The season shift for our family has been obvious and hard. I’m hoping to make them my priority in this aside from my health.
As we’ve made the difficult decision to close the doors due to my battle with cancer, I want to express my gratitude for your unwavering support. In these challenging times, I’m offering a special weekend Facebook and in-person sale as a farewell gesture. I’ll also be selling larger items and decor on marketplace. If you are seriously interested in seeing, please reach out.
I hope that you take advantage of incredible discounts this weekend (Saturday in person shopping at the spa 12-3 pm) and help us bid a fond farewell.
