Beef tallow has a fatty acid profile very similar to your skin's natural oils, which is why it absorbs well and supports your skin barrier instead of just sitting on the surface of your skin.

Skincare is never a one-size fits all, so using the right amount and supporting your skin barrier makes all the difference.

A little ADHD brain dump, because that's how my brain works:
* A little goes a long way. If it feels greasy, you probably used too much.
* Skin healing takes time! I’ve been using tallow for over a year and my skin is finally thriving.
* Your skin might purge at first. Totally normal. Stay the course.
* No, it does NOT smell like you rubbed a steak on your face. Tallow has a distinct smell...it smells like tallow.
* One jar lasts longer than you think.

For my simple girlies who don't want 47 ingredients or scents to just feel moisturized. My Plain Whipped Tallow Cream only has two ingredients: tallow and jojoba oil.

We all know the benefits of tallow by now, it deeply nourishes, supports your skin barrier and actually absorbs instead of sitting on top of your skin.

Jojoba oil? It's technically a wax ester, which means it closely mimics your skin's natural sebum. It helps balance oil production (even with acne-prone skin), soothe inflammation and redness, supports skin repair, deliver lightweight hydration without clogging pores.

Growing up, my mom and grandma were always a little more on the holistic side. Reading labels and keeping things simple.

Turns out, that stuck.

I'm independent, a little stubborn 😏, and very much a "I'll figure it out myself" kind of person. After dealing with acne and getting tired of overcomplicated skincare, I decided to try making my own. Which is how tallow came into my life.

04 Tallow Co. is named after the cow used for my very first batch of tallow, tag number 04. Raised on the family farm. Exactly how this brand was meant to begin.

3 ways I use whipped tallow cream:

1 - Face Moisturizer - mimics your skin's natural oils, so it actually absorbs instead of sitting on top of your skin.
2 - Makeup Remover - melts makeup without stripping your skin or wrecking your skin barrier.
3 - Dry Spots / Winter Skin - elbows, hands, knuckles, heels. If it's crusty, this fixes it!
