If you know me, you know I enjoy eating medium rare meat and beef jerky. Because of that, I sometimes think about parasites. Making natural facial cream has been one of my biggest challenges — and biggest joys. Even with the same ingredients, nature doesn’t always behave. Weather, humidity, and shipping conditions can make a batch slightly different: a little softer, a little firmer, sometimes grainy, sometimes extra smooth.

I’ve remade countless batches until I’m satisfied with the quality. I won’t sell anything I don’t stand behind.

If your cream arrives runny from heat, refrigerate it for a few minutes. If it’s firm from the cold, let it sit at room temperature. It will settle into the texture it’s meant to be.
