Part 2 of things I’m saying no to this year, this is my summer, Mom edition! What else are we saying no to??

Three things I’m saying no to or cutting back on in 2026:
- Less alcohol. A painful truth honestly … it’s simply not good for us. Let’s see how well I can do with this one.
- Sweating. I’m done with it. Sorry Sarah Finn Frick I am not meant to live an uncomfortable life. I do not enjoy sweating.
-Lastly, saying no to the pace. Traveling significantly less. Slowing down? Maybe? But less travel, more no.

It was such an honor to be able to help two local businesses together, both that are an integral part of my family’s lives. We have had such an incredible experience getting additional help with some tricky medical things through Journey Pediatrics , so when Alice needed guidance on her new space in town? I knew exactly where to go. Celadon was (per usual) a dream to work with, sourcing durable fabrics and perfect touches to make the space feel fun but also functional. All the fabrics are high performance (including Block Shop Textiles!!!) and can withstand kids daily. Welcoming and safe for both kids and parents, it feels like the match we’ve all been looking for.
