A Feminine Healing teaches the framework I used to turn my feminine energy into a coping mechanism for my depression.

Sundays are for slowing down, recharging, and giving yourself some much-needed self-care. Whether it’s lounging with a good book, brunch and fellowship, or simply sipping some tea, make sure to prioritize yourself today. It’s okay to take it easy and reset for the week ahead. Remember, rest is just as important as productivity. You deserve it!🌸

Good day!  March of Dimes is an organization with a cause that’s close to my heart.  As I step into my new role on the leadership committee this year, I’m excited to share some upcoming events and initiatives that aim to raise awareness.

From MOD:  When it comes to giving families the best possible start, we all have the power to help. March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America’s maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies all day every day—and every step of the way.

Thank you in advance for considering to join us in supporting this special walk and mission!

If you are not in the Charlotte, NC area, you can still be a part of the mission!

I am excited to share that I am on the Leadership Committee for our 2025 Greater Charlotte March of Dimes Walk - “March for Babies”.

Thank you in advance for your donation and in supporting this special mission! For those outside of the Charlotte, NC area, you can still donate to the cause. 🥹🌸

MARCH FOR BABIES I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. Hey IG! I’m back and ready to dive into something new. I’ve been reflecting on where I am, my 30s, where I want to go, my 30’s, and just a new season in life. I’m excited to share that I’m officially revamping my page! ✨

This space will still be dedicated to my feminine healing journey and sharing my testimony of how living a life that puts my feminine energy first, keeps my mental health ails at bay. In this new season though, I am determined to connect and contribute to impactful community service work.

I believe that making a positive difference in the world is never out of reach—whether through small acts or big initiatives—and I can’t wait to explore this alongside all of you. 🌍❤️
On my page, I’ll now be documenting my experiences, challenges, and insights as I integrate into different community organizations and causes. I’ll also be sharing thoughts on lifestyle, my 30s 😂, growth, and what it means to live intentionally at every stage of existence.

Let’s support each other, create meaningful change, and inspire one another along the way! ✨ If you’re into purpose-driven living, I’d love for you to follow along. Your thoughts, stories, and advice are always welcome!

Meet you down in the chat. 🌸💫

🚨Story Time and Photo Dump🚨

🌸People want to see themselves in your story and see what's possible.

🌸I wanted to be a sharer. Wanted to open up the opportunity for people to see me and say: “Wow, if that is happening for B, it's possible for me too.” Yet I fell off. It may have been two quiet years online for AFH but very eventful in real life. At one point, I had three new jobs, all at the same time, then found my very feminine mind sometime back in July and quit two of them because.. what in the world? I grew tired, overweight (again), was stuck in an apartment I don’t love, and I haven't been home to see my family and friends in two years.

🌸Rebuilding your life, huh? “Go for it! Do it!” “You’ll bounce back” but smh, there’s the voice you don’t always pay attention to. Like, “Thats crazy, are you sure?” “Wait, what are you thinking” Moving to GA was a leap of faith and I was happy to jump but the struggle has been so real. Check it out. (Que photo dump 2021-2022 for a peek). Some happy pics, some tired pics, Am I faking it pics… Enjoy haha! But Ok, ok—stop the violins. Thats enough of that. Bleh!

🌸I know where Ive been, what I’ve been through, however I remembered that tapping into my feminine space gets me centered and some instant clarity. So moving forward, watch me slow down, stop running, trust the process, and give myself grace. Tons of it.

🌸Here we are in April ‘23 and I'm still here. I found stable work and got my salary back. I made a few real friends and have a social life. My finances are coming back together and my body is looking more recognizable (check stories for keto content). I'm here for the small victories. Cheers to Spring, Cheers to new. Come on 2023, bring it on!

🌸 I was doing research for my new e-book and I came across this article about a concept known as "holding space." Holding space is the willingness to walk alongside another person in whatever journey they are on without judgment or trying to fix them. Holding space allows us to open our hearts and offer unconditional support. We often hold space for people while they hold space for others. It's only when we are holding space for everyone else and no one is holding space for us that we start to feel drained. Think about the ones in your life that you may be holding space for. Are you feeling run down? It is impossible to hold space for others when no one is there to hold space for you.

🌸 I'm a big sis, the oldest of four. I was born into a leadership role and many burdens were passed down similar to how birthrights are passed down from parent to child. Naturally, I fell into roles like surrogate mother, mentor, coach. I was taught at a young age to hold space for those around me but I never paid attention to who was holding space for me. Femininity training, that's pretty much what I am calling this "level up" of mine, really taught me to put myself first and to pay attention to who I keep around me. I left a handful of people behind in 2020, because after performing an assessment I realized folks simply didn't hold space for me like I did for them.

🌸 Ladies, I challenge you to perform this same assessment. By no means is this a pity exercise, just an eye-opening one. Holding space is something that all us can do and the family and friends in your circle should be able to do this for YOU.
Holding space isn't rocket science either and can't be mastered overnight, but it can be simple. It's unique to me, to you, and the people you trust to be around you.

TO ALL MY FEMININE LADIES 🗣🗣

Hey beautiful souls! I just wanted to hop on here and show you some love. I spent the Summer in a space of humility and gratitude but I’m back in the swing of things and ready to share more content with you!

Being in a feminine space, I no longer think twice about taking all the necessary time off that I need to function and vibrate higher. Never be afraid to put it all down Sis and walk AWAY. Get in the bed, turn the phones off, take a walk, soak in the tub, read some poetry, binge something hilarious, don’t over work, and definitely don’t over think. 😌

Praying that all you ladies are blessed, thriving and having the best week❤️🌸

May is a time to raise awareness of those living with mental or behavioral health issues and to help reduce the stigma so many experience.

I’ve been using this month to work more closely with and have the tough discussions surrounding stigmas related to depression. Depression is not one size fits all. Depression can be obvious or may not be easy to spot at all. This is a disease and disability that you can’t control. BUT there are ways to manage it.

For the ladies who can relate, what ways do you manage or cope when dealing with episodes of depression?
