New York Post: Boogie Down borough denizens Suzanne Likeness and Zoeya Garcia launched the brainy initiative, Books x Bodegas, last fall to boost residents’ exposure to reading by placing free-to-take novels inside the area’s most-beloved hubs: bodegas.

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month

Grief changes us profoundly and forever. And many times we do not have the space to properly move through our grief.
We would like to honor those grieving this great loss by anchoring the month with some community grief circles.
We will have 2 opportunities to join In person in Charlotte to grieve communally.

In this grief circle, we will share stories, practice some self healing techniques and gain new skills for moving through our grief collectively. Anyone impacted by pregnancy or infant loss is welcome to attend. Whether your loss was recent or sometime in the past, this space is for you!!!
