Unpopular opinion…but not every Silk Press needs to be pre-pressed!

The truth is, the technique should be based on the client’s hair texture, density, condition, and the desired finish.

Sometimes pre-pressing is beneficial. Sometimes it’s an unnecessary step. The goal is not to follow a routine just because that’s what we’ve always done. The goal is understanding the hair in front of you.
