Turning 65 Is Not for the Faint at Heart!

Today, instead of my usual live conversation, I want to share a little real-life moment.

As I prepare to celebrate my 65th birthday, I've found myself navigating Medicare, insurance options, premiums, enrollment deadlines, and enough paperwork to make my head spin!

One day you're planning birthday celebrations, and the next day you're trying to figure out Medicare Part B, TRICARE, Social Security, and quarterly premium payments. Whew!

But through it all, I've been praying and asking God for clarity, wisdom, and knowledge. And He continues to provide exactly what I need from one conversation, one answer, and one step at a time.

I've learned that growing older is a privilege, but growing wiser is a choice.

So today, I'm choosing faith over fear, wisdom over worry, and gratitude over frustration. And you should do the same!

If you're approaching a new season in life, remember this: You don't have to have all the answers today. Trust God to guide your steps and give you clarity for the next decision.

And for anyone turning 65 or navigating retirement planning, just know you're not alone!

Talk about it...Know what season you are in. Trust God for your major life transition. Ask Him for clarity, wisdom and knowledge. Trust me, the Lord is faithful!

It is my understanding that the Mecklenburg County Courthouse is currently booked through June 2026. I'm sure Cabarrus County and others have a long wait to.
