Getting to know the woman behind some of our favorite bottles. Mary Taylor built her import business on a simple idea, the person who grows the wine matters just as much as the wine itself. Every bottle carries the grower’s name, not just a grape, because she works directly with small family producers and helps get their wine into American glasses.

It’s a woman driven, deeply personal way of doing business, and we’re proud to carry her wines in The Bottle Shop.

Alice Berthier Coteaux du Giennois Blanc. 30 year old Loire Valley vines. Bright, floral, and made for pouring cold. $28.

Mary Taylor Bordeaux Blanc. Unoaked, citrusy, and dangerously easy to drink on a hot day. $22.

Mary Taylor (Jean Marc Barthez) Bordeaux Rouge. Bright, unoaked, and just as good slightly chilled. A red that doesn’t take summer off. $18.
