We often experience guilt as moms

And let’s be honest—sometimes it feels like it comes with the title.

Guilt for not being patient enough.
Guilt for snapping when we’re overwhelmed.
Guilt for choosing work, choosing rest, choosing ourselves.
Guilt for not doing “enough.”
Guilt for doing “too much.”

If you’re a mom, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

đ—”đ—»đ—± đ—”đ—Č𝗿đ—Č’𝘀 đ˜„đ—”đ—źđ˜ 𝗜’𝘃đ—Č đ—čđ—Čđ—źđ—żđ—»đ—Čđ—± đ—źđ—Żđ—Œđ˜‚đ˜ đ—Žđ˜‚đ—¶đ—č𝘁

It is not healthy to carry it around.
But it is a powerful catalyst for change.

We usually feel guilt because we acted or reacted in a way that didn’t align with the mom, woman, or person we want to be.

đ—”đ—»đ—± đ—¶đ—» đ—ș𝘆 đ—Čđ˜…đ—œđ—Čđ—żđ—¶đ—Čđ—»đ—°đ—Č, đ˜†đ—Œđ˜‚ đ—žđ—»đ—Œđ˜„ đ˜„đ—”đ˜† 𝘄đ—Č 𝗾đ—Čđ—Čđ—œ 𝗳đ—Čđ—Čđ—čđ—¶đ—»đ—Ž đ˜đ—”đ—źđ˜ 𝘀𝗼đ—șđ—Č đ—Žđ˜‚đ—¶đ—č𝘁 đ—Œđ˜ƒđ—Č𝗿 đ—źđ—»đ—± đ—Œđ˜ƒđ—Č𝗿 đ—źđ—Žđ—źđ—¶đ—»?

Because we keep showing up the same way.
We keep reacting the same way.
We keep choosing the same patterns.

So the guilt just
 stays.

Do I carry guilt around with me? No.

And when I notice it creeping in, I ask myself:
“Why am I feeling this?”
“What is this trying to show me?”
“What needs to change here?”

And I’ll be honest

I deeply respect myself for this.
I respect that I don’t ignore guilt.
I respect that I don’t numb it.
I respect that I don’t beat myself up for it.
I feel it.

I get curious about it.
And then I change.

𝗕đ—Č𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘀đ—Č đ—Žđ˜‚đ—¶đ—č𝘁 đ—°đ—źđ—» đ—Žđ—Œ đ—Œđ—»đ—Č đ—Œđ—ł đ˜đ˜„đ—Œ 𝘄𝗼𝘆𝘀

It can lead to shame

Or it can lead to growth.

And that part?
That’s our choice.

We don’t have to spiral.
We don’t have to self-attack.
We don’t have to carry it like a weight on our chest.

We can let it be information.
We can let it be feedback.
We can let it guide us into becoming calmer, more patient, more present, more aligned.

I truly believe guilt isn’t meant to punish us.
It’s meant to point us.

And I also believe that the highest version of us—the calm mom, the confident woman, the emotionally grounded leader of our homes—
is built through these exact moments.

And I remember thinking

if you knew where she started, you’d understand why that sentence matters so much.

When she first reached out, she was frustrated, discouraged, and honestly
 embarrassed.

She was gaining weight postpartum instead of losing it.
Her back hurt.
Her core felt weak and unstable.
Her body didn’t feel like her own anymore.

She said,
“𝘐 đ˜„đ˜°đ˜Żâ€™đ˜” đ˜łđ˜Šđ˜€đ˜°đ˜šđ˜Żđ˜Șđ˜»đ˜Š 𝘼đ˜ș𝘮𝘩𝘭𝘧.”

She was barely eating all day.
Then doing hours of cardio.
Trying to “outwork” the weight.
Trying to “earn” her food.
Trying to force her body to change.

And it wasn’t working.

đ—§đ—”đ—Č 𝘀𝗰𝗼đ—čđ—Č 𝗾đ—Čđ—œđ˜ đ—Žđ—Œđ—¶đ—»đ—Ž đ˜‚đ—œ.

Her clothes kept getting tighter.
Her confidence kept shrinking.

She told me she felt like her metabolism was tanked and she was scared this was just
 her now.

She wanted help.
But she was hesitant.

Because she’s a full-time working Mama.
Because she’s busy.
Because she already felt stretched thin.
Because she didn’t think she had “enough time” to actually change.

And honestly?
She almost talked herself out of it.
But she took the chance.

And now

She wears shorts confidently.
(đ˜žđ˜©đ˜Šđ˜Ż đ˜Žđ˜©đ˜Š đ˜¶đ˜Žđ˜Šđ˜„ đ˜”đ˜° đ˜©đ˜Șđ˜„đ˜Š đ˜Ș𝘯 𝘭𝘩𝘹𝘹đ˜Ș𝘯𝘹𝘮 đ˜ąđ˜Żđ˜„ đ˜±đ˜ąđ˜Żđ˜”đ˜Ž đ˜ș𝘩𝘱𝘳-đ˜łđ˜°đ˜¶đ˜Żđ˜„.)

She can step on it without spiraling.
Without shame.
Without letting a number ruin her day.

She used to see food as the enemy.
Something to avoid.
Something to fear.

Now she sees it as fuel.
She enjoys eating.
She feels energized.
She feels in control — without restriction.

𝗛đ—Č𝗿 đ—čđ—¶đ—łđ—Č đ—±đ—¶đ—±đ—»â€™đ˜ đ—șđ—źđ—Žđ—¶đ—°đ—źđ—čđ—č𝘆 𝗮đ—Č𝘁 đ—čđ—Č𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘆.

Her job didn’t disappear.

The only thing that changed

𝘾𝘱𝘮 đ˜”đ˜©đ˜Š đ˜Žđ˜”đ˜łđ˜ąđ˜”đ˜Šđ˜šđ˜ș.

She stopped guessing.
She stopped punishing her body.
She stopped trying to survive on willpower.

And she started following a plan built for her body, her hormones, and her life as a Mom.
And that’s why it worked.

This is exactly why I created the 𝗠𝗼đ—ș𝗼 đ— đ—¶đ—±đ˜€đ—Čđ—°đ˜đ—¶đ—Œđ—» 𝗠đ—Čđ˜đ—”đ—Œđ—± – 𝟭𝟼 đ—Șđ—Čđ—Č𝗾 đ—„đ—Č𝘀đ—Č𝘁 đ—–đ—”đ—źđ—čđ—čđ—Čđ—»đ—Žđ—Č.

‱ tired of hiding in her clothes
‱ tired of fighting the scale
‱ tired of feeling disconnected from her body
‱ tired of trying to do it all on her own

This isn’t about starving.

It’s about finally having a system that works with you.

Things I will NEVER teach my kids about food

I will never teach them that there are “good foods” and “bad foods.”

👉 I will teach them that all food is fuel and every food serves a purpose.

I will never teach them to reward themselves with food.

👉 I will teach them how to celebrate, cope, and self-soothe without using food.

I will never teach them that calories are bad.

👉 I will teach them that calories are simply energy
and their bodies need energy to grow, learn, play, and thrive.

I will never teach them how to diet.

👉 I will teach them how to eat healthfully for life.
I will never teach them how to lose weight.

I will never teach them how to lose weight.

👉 I will teach them how to become strong, healthy, and fit.

I will never teach them to deprive themselves of foods they enjoy.

👉 I will teach them balance, moderation, and confidence around food.

Because I refuse to pass down

‱ food guilt
‱ food fear
‱ diet culture
‱ or a broken relationship with their bodies

I’m raising kids who understand food.
Not fear it.
Not fight it.
Not obsess over it.

And the only way I can teach them this

is by living it myself. 💛

đŸ’đŸ»â€â™€ïžLet me know if this was helpful for you in the comments and share with a Mama who may need some reassurance

And if you’re a Mama who’s ready to heal your relationship with food, get strong, lose the belly, and model a healthy lifestyle for your kids without dieting

that’s exactly what I teach inside Mama Midsection Method – 12 Week Reset.

This isn’t about shrinking yourself.

It’s about becoming the healthiest version of you
 for you and them.

💕Comment or DM “RESET” and I’ll send you the details

You, and your children, are worth it, Mama.

Because somehow

👉I could afford Starbucks a few times a week. ☕
👉I could afford Target runs that were “just for one thing.” (We all know how that winds up 😆)
👉I could afford my nails, my hair, my Chic-Fil-Al, the cute Amazon finds.

That’s where I hesitated.

Not because I didn’t want it

But because I had learned to put myself last for so long that investing in me felt
 wrong.

And maybe you feel that too. đŸ€

I used to think health coaching was “expensive.”
Until I looked at what not changing was actually costing me

– Feeling exhausted all the time
– Being short-tempered with my kids
– Avoiding photos
– Not recognizing myself in the mirror
– Feeling uncomfortable in my own skin
– Laying in bed at night promising “I’ll start Monday”
 again

That quiet heaviness
 that constant frustration
 that loss of confidence

That was expensive.

Not in dollars

But in đ—·đ—Œđ˜†.
In đ—œđ—żđ—Č𝘀đ—Čđ—»đ—°đ—Č.
In đ—œđ—Č𝗼𝗰đ—Č.

And that’s when I had to gently ask myself

Not: “𝘊𝘱𝘯 𝘐 đ˜ąđ˜§đ˜§đ˜°đ˜łđ˜„ đ˜”đ˜° đ˜€đ˜©đ˜ąđ˜Żđ˜šđ˜Š?”

Because the truth is

The Starbucks will be gone in 10 minutes.
The Target stuff will end up in a drawer.
The nails will grow out.

She sat on the edge of her bed one morning, pulling at her jeans and fighting back tears.

She hadn’t gained weight.
But nothing had changed either.

For over a year she had been doing đ˜Šđ˜·đ˜Šđ˜łđ˜șđ˜”đ˜©đ˜Ș𝘯𝘹 𝘳đ˜Șđ˜šđ˜©đ˜” —
Going to the gym 4–5 days a week
Sweating hard
Burning calories
“Eating healthy”
Saying no to dessert
Trying to be disciplined

And yet

The scale wouldn’t move.
Her clothes didn’t fit any differently.
Her belly still felt uncomfortable and bloated.

She told me later,
“I just felt stupid for trying so hard and getting nowhere.”

So she quit.

Not because she was lazy.
Not because she didn’t care.
But because she genuinely believed her body đ˜«đ˜¶đ˜Žđ˜” đ˜žđ˜ąđ˜Žđ˜Żâ€™đ˜” đ˜źđ˜Šđ˜ąđ˜Żđ˜” đ˜”đ˜° đ˜€đ˜©đ˜ąđ˜Żđ˜šđ˜Š 𝘱𝘯đ˜ș𝘼𝘰𝘳𝘩.

When she first reached out to me months later, she was hesitant.

She said,
“I’m scared to start because what if this is just another thing that doesn’t work? I’ve already been working out and eating healthy
and nothing changed for a year.”

And here’s the truth I gently helped her see:

đ—Šđ—”đ—Č đ˜„đ—źđ˜€đ—»â€™đ˜ đ—łđ—źđ—¶đ—čđ—¶đ—»đ—Ž.
đ—Šđ—”đ—Č 𝘄𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝘂đ—Čđ˜€đ˜€đ—¶đ—»đ—Ž.

She was working hard — 𝗯𝘂𝘁 đ˜„đ—¶đ˜đ—”đ—Œđ˜‚đ˜ 𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘁đ—Č𝗮𝘆.
Her workouts and her food weren’t supporting each other.

Her body had no reason to respond differently.

Once we stopped guessing and started executing a 𝗰đ—čđ—Č𝗼𝗿, đ—œđ—Čđ—żđ˜€đ—Œđ—»đ—źđ—čđ—¶đ˜‡đ—Čđ—± 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘁đ—Č𝗮𝘆
 everything changed.

Not magically.
Not overnight.
But inevitably.

Her energy came back first.
Then the bloat disappeared.
Then her clothes started fitting differently.
Then the scale finally followed.

She looked at me one check-in and said,
“Why does this feel easier than everything I’ve tried before?”

Because it wasn’t about doing more.
It was about doing the 𝘳đ˜Șđ˜šđ˜©đ˜” đ˜”đ˜©đ˜Ș𝘯𝘹𝘮 for đ—”đ—Č𝗿 đ—Żđ—Œđ—±đ˜†, đ—”đ—Č𝗿 đ—”đ—Œđ—żđ—șđ—Œđ—»đ—Č𝘀, đ—”đ—Č𝗿 đ—čđ—¶đ—łđ—Č𝘀𝘁𝘆đ—čđ—Č, đ—”đ—Č𝗿 đ—șđ—Œđ—ș-đ—čđ—¶đ—łđ—Č.

Seeing changes to your body every week becomes inevitable when your effort is finally aligned.

And Mama — if you’re working out, eating “pretty good,” and still frustrated

You’re not broken.
You’re not failing.
You don’t need more willpower.

You need a 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁đ—Čđ—ș.

A system built 𝘧𝘰𝘳 đ˜șđ˜°đ˜¶.
One that makes your workouts actually work.
One that fuels your body instead of fighting it.
One that helps you lose your belly, feel confident again, and stop starting over.

That’s exactly why I created the Mama Midsection Method —
A 12-Week Reset designed specifically for Moms who are DONE guessing and ready to finally see results.

✹ If you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels and start executing a strategy that works for your life

Comment or DM "đ—Šđ—§đ—„đ—”đ—§đ—˜đ—šđ—Ź" to stop guessing and start executing a plan built just for you.

You’re not far off.
You’re just a few tweaks away 💛

I got chills when I learned this.

Not because of coincidence — but because of đ—°đ—Œđ—»đ—łđ—¶đ—żđ—șđ—źđ˜đ—¶đ—Œđ—».

As I reflected on Arise turning đŸ” 𝘆đ—Č𝗼𝗿𝘀 đ—Œđ—čđ—±, I shared how much that number meant to me:
completion, refinement, fruit, judgment, growth.
The end of a cycle and the preparation for what’s next.

But what I didn’t know then

was that đŸźđŸŹđŸźđŸ± đ—¶đ˜đ˜€đ—Čđ—č𝗳 đ—¶đ˜€ 𝗼 đ—šđ—»đ—¶đ˜ƒđ—Č𝗿𝘀𝗼đ—č 𝗬đ—Č𝗼𝗿 đŸ”.

And when I read what that meant, everything clicked.

A Year 9 represents:
‱ completion
‱ release
‱ endings
‱ shedding what no longer aligns
‱ closing chapters that served their purpose

It’s the year where what đ˜Żđ˜Šđ˜Šđ˜„đ˜Ž to fall away
 does.
Where God removes what you may have been holding onto too tightly.
Where refinement happens — not to punish you — but to prepare you.

And if I’m being honest?
That is exactly what 2025 has been for me and for this business.

Things ended.
Things shifted.
Things that once felt “right” stopped fitting.
And space was created — sometimes painfully — for what is real, aligned, and God-led.

Then I looked ahead.

✹ 2026 is a Universal Year 1. ✹

And I felt it in my spirit immediately.

Year 1 represents:
‱ a fresh start
‱ a new chapter
‱ creation
‱ vision becoming action
‱ stepping forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose

Not dreaming anymore.
Not waiting anymore.
đ— đ—Œđ˜ƒđ—¶đ—»đ—Ž.

And Mama — I don’t think this message is just for me.
I think there are so many of you who have been in your own “Year 9.”

You’ve been releasing old versions of yourself.
Letting go of habits, beliefs, patterns, and identities that no longer serve you.
Outgrowing comfort.
Feeling the weight of change — even when you didn’t fully understand it.

And now
 2026 is knocking.

A year that doesn’t ask you to be perfect.
It asks you to be đ—Œđ—Żđ—Čđ—±đ—¶đ—Čđ—»đ˜.
It asks you to 𝗯đ—Čđ—Žđ—¶đ—».
To take the first step — even if you don’t see the whole staircase yet.

You don’t have to carry what no longer fits you into this next season.
You don’t have to keep proving you’re ready.
You don’t have to wait for confidence to magically appear.

Sometimes confidence comes đ˜ąđ˜§đ˜”đ˜Šđ˜ł action.

So if God has been stirring something in you

If you’ve felt the pull toward change

If you know, deep down, that staying where you are is no longer an option

Maybe 2026 isn’t the year you “try again.”

Maybe it’s the year you 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗿đ—Čđ˜€đ—” — on purpose.

And like the Phoenix in my logo

sometimes what rises isn’t the old version made better —
but something entirely new, refined by fire and led by faith.

Here’s to release.
Here’s to new beginnings.
Here’s to mamas who are ready to rise — with clarity, courage, and conviction.

𝟼𝟬𝟼đŸČ
 đ—čđ—Č𝘁’𝘀 𝗯đ—Čđ—Žđ—¶đ—». đŸ€đŸ”„

P.S. If your health is seriously on your list this year

and you’re done “trying again”
and ready to 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗿đ—Čđ˜€đ—” — with intention, support, and a plan

If you’re ready to step into the đ—”đ—Č𝗼đ—čđ˜đ—”đ—¶đ—Č𝘀𝘁, đ—șđ—Œđ˜€đ˜ đ—Čđ—»đ—Čđ—żđ—Žđ—¶đ˜‡đ—Čđ—±, đ—źđ—»đ—± đ—șđ—Œđ˜€đ˜ đ—°đ—Œđ—»đ—łđ—¶đ—±đ—Čđ—»đ˜ 𝘃đ—Čđ—żđ˜€đ—¶đ—Œđ—» đ—Œđ—ł đ˜†đ—Œđ˜‚đ—żđ˜€đ—Čđ—č𝗳 — not just for you, but for your family

This isn’t about quick fixes or restriction.
It’s about transformation — physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Last night, I lit a few candles at the table.
The kids were laughing.
Everyone was hungry.

And dinner?
Chicken nuggets.
No separate “mom meal.”

No making 3 different meals and me eating something different in the corner.

Just me
 sitting down
 eating with my kids
 𝗳𝘂đ—čđ—č𝘆 đ—œđ—żđ—Č𝘀đ—Čđ—»đ˜.

And here’s the belief I want to gently break for you, Mama 👇

How to eat in a way that supports fat loss without turning family meals into a stress fest.
How to stop fearing foods like chicken nuggets.
How to trust yourself around food again.

And yeah
learning this isn’t always sexy to sell.

But you know what is sexy?

✹ Sitting at the table with your family instead of standing at the counter
✹ Being present instead of battling food noise
✹ Not worrying about what one meal will do to the scale tomorrow
✹ Showing your kids a healthy relationship with food — not another diet

Because your kids aren’t watching what diet you’re on.

They’re watching how you live, how you talk about food, and how you talk about YOURSELF.

And the goal was never perfect eating.
The goal was freedom.

Freedom to lose the weight without losing yourself.
Freedom to enjoy food and your family.

If this is the kind of balance you’ve been craving,
