Yβall, 12 years old with hair like this...how is that even a thing?!
We decided to play up her natural hair color by sprinkling in a few brighter pieces focusing mainly around her face! Obsessed is an understatement π

I am thrilled to announce the long awaited reopening of the salon! As many of you know, covid-19 has changed a lot of things in our life. Unfortunately, the salon has been impacted as well. So in order to comply with CDC recommendations, We are temporarily discontinuing our blowdrying services.
Here are some key things we must all work together to do inside the salon:
1. It is recommended that each guest is to wear a mask upon entry to the salon and during service. As well as going to the restroom, through the hallways etc.
2. each guest must wash hands upon entry of the salon before every service!
3. Each guest is to stay in their cars or outside when arriving and wait for stylist to greet you at the door!

Always remember: a good, solid consultation before any service is huge, it ultimately determines the end result of your service and also determines wether your guest leaves happy or not. Open ended questions, honest conversations, and realistic expectations are key ππΌ

Major color transformation on yesterday and I am living for it yβall! ππΌππΌππΌ
β’What she wanted: Brighter & Higher balayage while still keeping the depth of her natural color in there, with a soft transition in between her hi/low color ππΌ
-
β’What I did: hand painted Panels working up the head in horizontal sections while also baby lighting in between, then applied a quick smudge root at the bowl using 5N with a splash of 4NA & then added in some long layers for movement ππΌ

I have been so busy lately with the salon move earlier this year and adjusting to being a business owner that i rarely get the time to post!
-
Hereβs to playing catch up on all the yummy hair pics! I only have about a million of and I am obsessed with them all π»
-
A lot of people think that you have to change your base color to have a balayage- but that is not the case at all!
-
Working with your natural hair color is almost always the answer if you are less than 60% Grey! The truth is...that βmousyβ natural color you have, is what most of you want as a base anyways- It avoids unnecessary warmth and harsh grow out lines!

THAT BLEND THO π€€ππΌ

Did you know?! Wider/Thicker Panels when painting hair makes for an easier and softer blend! .mckeel wanted a soft transition, with a bright color and I think we may have nailed it! π»
