Lip filler, demystified…
Here’s what actually happens during a lip filler appointment: your injector, Imeelyn Zarzuela, APRN, FNP-C | Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner starts by assessing your natural lip shape and proportions, because the goal isn’t “bigger,” it’s BALANCED. Using a fine needle or cannula, filler is placed in small, precise amounts to add volume, define the border, and smooth vertical lip lines, all while keeping your results looking like you, just refreshed.
Swelling and slight bruising are normal for the first few days, final results settle in at the two-week mark.
