Its that time of year to order everything for our winter collection. And we want to hear from you!

We will definitely be doing the winter wonderland (the snowflake soap), The gingerbread man has been requested as well. Are you also wanting winter woods (the Christmas tree) or are you thinking some frankincense and myrrh?

We will not be doing the shaped soaps this year and these will be available in bars so you can enjoy them longer!

Are you ready for the winter vanilla mint balm and balm sticks to return? Do you want Christmas times sweet scent back? or something different? And the Frostwood beard balm?

I also think it might be a great time to bring back our sugar scrubs! What scents would you like to see this year?

I’ve been reading in the Book of Mark lately… the places where Jesus talks about belief, faith, and miracles. The quiet reminder that nothing is beyond what God can do.

It hit me differently this time.

Fat Soaps started as the tiniest idea. Just something small in my kitchen. There have been so many moments I almost stopped. Days when it felt too hard, too slow, or like maybe I wasn’t cut out for it. And every single time, something would gently pull me back: keep going. Have faith. This isn’t finished yet.

Looking at where we are now… the soaps, the balms, the little family business that’s grown further than I ever imagined… I can only see God’s hand in it. Not because the path was easy, but because He kept meeting me in the middle of the doubt.

If you’re in a season where the thing God put on your heart still feels small, or the progress feels slow, or you’re tempted to quit… hold on. Keep showing up. Faith doesn’t always look loud. Sometimes it just looks like refusing to walk away.
We’re truly blessed. And I’m so grateful He’s still writing this story.

Brewmaster Woods Natural Soap

Handcrafted in small batches right here in our Cheyenne, Wyoming home kitchen.
This 4.5 oz bar is made with tallow, olive oil, lard, coconut oil, Bock beer, Rhassoul clay, and a bold blend of essential oils: clary sage, cedarwood, rosemary, orange, bergamot, and vetiver.

Expect a rich, creamy lather and a deep woodsy-herbal-citrus scent that feels like a walk through a sun-warmed forest trail, earthy, grounding, and masculine.

Perfect for your everyday cleansing routine. Each bar is unique thanks to the handmade process, with natural color variations from batch to batch.

We’ve given our favorite scalp & hair balm a little refresh

Introducing Cool Lavender Hair and Scalp Balm (formerly Luxe Herbal Scalp Balm).

Same rich, melt-into-your-scalp texture you already love, now with a cooler lavender-forward scent and a small update to the formula. We’ve added a trusted preservative system and Vitamin E so every tin stays fresh and stable longer.

Still handcrafted in small batches with our signature tallow infused with calendula, comfrey, chamomile, gotu kola, and yarrow, plus jojoba, argan, pumpkin seed, castor, and coconut oils.

Soft, smooth, and lightly herbaceous, just the way a good hair & scalp balm should feel.

We’ve been a little quiet the last week, but I promise work has been happening behind the scenes and we’ll be releasing some new things soon!

It’s coming back, along with Frostwood beard balm and Winter Vanilla Mint (in both sticks and whipped). We have just two vanilla mint treasures available right now.

Vanilla Mint Stick Balm – glide on no mess perfect for face hands or on the go

Both are made in small batches in our home kitchen with real vanilla beans and pure peppermint essential oil and our hand rendered tallow.

Fresh batches of our tallow soaps and balms are curing, Rocky is supervising from his usual spot, and the girls keep sneaking in to “help” (and sample the scents).

We made these for a reason.

Big news from our little kitchen!

Lately we have been making more and more soap at a time so we are upgrading our equipment to make the process more efficient.

Meet our new slab mold! This one holds just under 18 pounds of soap. Our old molds only made around 3 pounds each and this was so much easier to pour.

Grateful for the growth while everything stays handmade right here at home.
