If you value the freedom to choose your own haircut, we’ve got you! Everyone is welcome here.
Our community deserves better than the harassment and harmful behavior we’re seeing from elected officials, and I’m done pretending it’s acceptable.
Stay informed, stay loud, and show up, with that freshcut. Your voice matters more than they want you to believe.
Speaking for myself, and the many who cannot speak out because of the REAL retaliation and intimidation by our elected officials. 2027 needs to be the year this community chooses better.

Richard 05/28/2026

Richard “Dick” Jacoby was one of those rare men who leave a mark on your life without ever trying to. A master barber, a gentle soul, and a quiet force in our community, he spent 59 years behind the same chair, in the same building, serving the same families who trusted him with their sons, and their sons’ sons after that. One family even gave him five generations of boys to men. Thats legacy.

Most people knew him as Richard or Dick. Few knew him as Hercules. In 2018, he’d drop to the shop floor and knock out 50 push‑ups twice a day, smiling like a man who still felt twenty. His strength was real, and his kindness even stronger.

He grew up in the Depression era, and you could feel that in the way he lived humble, steady, and generous without needing credit. His humor was quiet but sharp. His integrity never wavered. And when he retired his shop to me at 83 years old, he didn’t just hand me keys. He handed me a lifetime of pride, purpose, and community.

I am a better man because of Richard Jacoby. Anyone who ever sat in his chair is. His life was proof that greatness doesn’t always shout. Sometimes it stands behind a barber chair for six decades, doing honest work with steady hands and a full heart.

I will admire him for the rest of my life.

ACLU Helps Church, Nonprofit Group Sue Laramie County Sheriff Over ICE Agreements 05/27/2026

I’m honestly disgusted by some of the comments coming out of the Cheyenne community. It’s clear many people aren’t even reading the full article before jumping in with hate and untrue assumptions.

He was not here illegally… he attended every one of his immigration hearings in Denver. He was a contractor, not an employee. And yes, he had traffic violations, but nothing criminal.

The amount of misinformation being thrown around is exactly why this town stays stuck in the same toxic cycle.

WYOMING — I need your help.
If my work has ever made you look sharp, feel confident, or walk out of the shop like you owned the day, I’m asking for one thing:

Go vote for me / my barbershop for Cheyenne’s Best of the Best.

This is the part where I shamelessly say:
I’ve put 20 years into this craft, 14 with this community, and the state. If you’ve ever sat in my chair, supported my shops, or believed in what I do, your vote means everything.

Let’s bring this one home.
Vote. Share. Tag your people.
Let’s show Cheyenne what real barbering looks like.
