Today, I’m coming to you not just as the owner of Princess Niya’s Boutique, not just as your favorite Soap Goddess, not just as a businesswoman or entrepreneur…

But as a WOMAN. A MOTHER. A SURVIVOR OF HEARTBREAK. A WOMAN OF FAITH. AND SOMEONE WHO IS HURTING DEEPLY RIGHT NOW. 🥹💔

If you’ve been part of our PNB Royal Family for a while, then you already know that one thing about me is that I’m ALWAYS going to be transparent with you.

I share the BEAUTIFUL moments, the EXCITING milestones, the WINS, the LESSONS, and sometimes even the moments that bring me to my knees. 🙏🏽

I’ve gone back and forth with myself for the past several days about whether I should share this.

I’ve cried. 😭
I’ve prayed. 🙏🏽
I’ve questioned things.
I’ve been angry.
I’ve been disappointed.
And I’ve had to remind myself WHO I AM and WHOSE I AM! ❤️‍🩹

But something kept pulling at my heart, telling me that maybe, just MAYBE, someone out there needs to hear this.

So today, I’m choosing to turn my PAIN into PURPOSE and my HEARTBREAK into a TESTIMONY. 🦋✨

🩷💜🩵 OCTOBER HAS ALWAYS BEEN MORE THAN JUST ANOTHER MONTH AT PNB!

For those of you who have been rocking with Princess Niya’s Boutique since DAY ONE, you know that every October, we dedicate our platform, our creativity, and our products to three causes that are incredibly near and dear to my heart.

💜 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS
🩷💙 PREGNANCY & INFANT LOSS AWARENESS

These aren’t just awareness campaigns to me.

They’re not marketing opportunities.

They’re not just pretty pink, purple, and blue soaps or beautifully colored lip glosses.

THESE CAUSES ARE PERSONAL.

They represent people I LOVE.

They represent people I’ve LOST.

They represent battles that have been fought.

They represent SURVIVAL, STRENGTH, GRIEF, COURAGE, LOVE, and REMEMBRANCE. ❤️‍🩹

Every year, I pour my HEART, my SOUL, my CREATIVITY, and my LOVE into creating special handmade soaps and lip glosses to honor these causes.

And this year was supposed to be no different.

But unfortunately…

SOMEONE I TRUSTED DESTROYED EVERYTHING I WORKED SO HARD TO CREATE. 💔😭

Yes, Royals. You read that correctly.

The handmade soaps and lip glosses I spent countless hours planning, designing, formulating, creating, and preparing for our October Awareness Collections were deliberately destroyed by someone I trusted.

Someone I allowed around me.

Someone I never imagined would intentionally hurt me or interfere with something that means so much to my heart.

And when I tell you that I am DEVASTATED…

BABYYYYY, DEVASTATED DOESN’T EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE IT! 😭💔

I’m literally sitting here with tears streaming down my face as I type this.

Not because of the money.

Not because of the materials.

Not because of the hours of hard work.

Although ALL of those things matter when you’re a small business owner.

I’m crying because of what these products REPRESENTED. 🥹❤️‍🩹

Let me explain…

🎀🩷 BREAST CANCER AWARENESS — IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY GRANDMOTHER

My paternal grandmother lost her battle with breast cancer. 💔🕊️

And although she is no longer physically here, her memory continues to live in my heart.

Every October, when I create my Breast Cancer Awareness Collection, I’m creating something in HER HONOR.

Every swirl of pink soap…

Every beautiful shade of pink lip gloss…

Every thoughtful detail…

It’s my way of saying:

“Grandma, you may be gone, but you will NEVER be forgotten.” 🩷🕊️

It’s also my way of honoring the beautiful warriors who are currently fighting breast cancer, celebrating the survivors, and remembering the precious lives we’ve lost.

Because behind every pink ribbon is a REAL PERSON.

A mother.
A grandmother.
A daughter.
A sister.
A wife.
A friend.

A STORY. A FIGHT. A LEGACY. 🎀

This one touches a part of my heart that words will NEVER fully explain. 🥹💔

For those who are new to our PNB Family, I’m part of a community of mothers who have experienced the unimaginable heartbreak of pregnancy or infant loss.

And unfortunately, I’ve experienced that heartbreak TWICE.

💙 In 2004, I lost my precious baby boy, Javontaé.

💙 In 2008, I experienced that devastating heartbreak again when I lost my precious baby boy, Je’Shawn.

Two beautiful little souls.

Two precious lives.

Two pieces of my heart that went to Heaven before I was ready to let them go. 🕊️💙

There are some wounds that time doesn’t erase.

You simply learn how to carry them.

You learn how to smile while missing someone.

You learn how to celebrate life while remembering the lives that should still be here.

You learn how to keep going, even when a piece of your heart is missing.

And no matter how many years pass, I will ALWAYS be their MOMMY! 🥹💙🦋

Every October, when I create my Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Collection, I’m honoring MY BABIES.

But I’m also honoring EVERY mother and father who knows what it feels like to love a child they can no longer hold.

Every parent who has cried themselves to sleep.

Every mother who remembers the due date that never became a birthday.

Every family with an empty space that nobody else can fill.

Every precious angel baby who left footprints on our hearts. 🩷💙🕊️

Our babies existed.
Our babies mattered.
Our babies were LOVED.
And our babies will NEVER be forgotten!

So when someone intentionally destroys something I’ve created to honor my children…

Please understand why that hurts me in a way I cannot fully put into words. 💔

Every October, I also dedicate a special collection to Domestic Violence Awareness.

This cause is personal to me because someone I love dearly, my cousin, is a domestic violence survivor. 💜

I’ve witnessed how deeply domestic violence can affect individuals and families.

And I know that leaving, healing, rebuilding, and learning to trust again can require tremendous courage.

That’s why this collection has always been about so much MORE than purple soaps and lip glosses.

It’s about reminding survivors:

💜 YOU ARE WORTHY OF LOVE.

💜 YOU DESERVE TO FEEL SAFE.

💜 YOUR VOICE MATTERS.

💜 YOUR STORY MATTERS.

💜 YOUR LIFE MATTERS.

💜 YOU DESERVE PEACE, HEALING & HAPPINESS.

And to those who are still fighting battles behind closed doors…

These weren’t just PRODUCTS.

They were TRIBUTES.

And to have someone deliberately destroy something so meaningful to me has been absolutely heartbreaking.

I’m not going to get into the details of who did it or exactly what happened.

Not because I don’t have anything to say…

BUT BECAUSE I’M CHOOSING MY PEACE OVER MY ANGER. 🙏🏽❤️‍🩹

And trust me, Royals…

That hasn’t been easy.

YES, I’M HURT! 💔

YES, I’M ANGRY! 😡

YES, I’M DISAPPOINTED! 😔

YES, I’VE CRIED! 😭

YES, I’VE HAD MOMENTS WHEN I WANTED TO REACT OUT OF ANGER!

But I’ve had to remind myself that one moment of anger is NOT worth jeopardizing everything GOD has been preparing me for! 🙌🏽

I’ve worked TOO HARD.

I’ve sacrificed TOO MUCH.

I’ve overcome TOO MANY OBSTACLES.

And I’ve come TOO FAR to allow someone else’s actions to pull me away from my PURPOSE!

I REFUSE TO LET SOMEONE ELSE’S HATE TURN MY HEART BITTER! 🦋

I’m choosing to give this situation to GOD.

I’m choosing HEALING over HATRED.

I’m choosing PEACE over REVENGE.

I’m choosing FAITH over FEAR.

And I’m choosing to keep BUILDING instead of allowing this setback to BREAK ME! 🙏🏽👑

Because what some people fail to understand is that…

PRINCESS NIYA’S BOUTIQUE WAS NEVER BUILT ON PRODUCTS ALONE!

It was built on LOVE. ❤️

It was built on FAMILY. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

It was built on FAITH. 🙏🏽

It was built on PURPOSE. 🦋

It was built on a mother’s determination to create something meaningful for her children.

It was built on a DREAM that started small but continues to grow into something bigger than I ever imagined.

And while someone may be able to destroy a batch of soap…

They CANNOT destroy the knowledge in my mind.

They CANNOT destroy the creativity in my hands.

They CANNOT destroy the passion in my heart.

They CANNOT destroy the LOVE I have for my children.

They CANNOT destroy the PURPOSE behind this business.

And they DEFINITELY CANNOT destroy what GOD has placed inside of ME! 🙌🏽🔥

YOU CAN DESTROY THE PRODUCT, BUT YOU CANNOT DESTROY THE VISION!

YOU CAN DELAY THE PROCESS, BUT YOU CANNOT CANCEL THE PURPOSE!

YOU CAN CREATE A SETBACK, BUT YOU CANNOT STOP WHAT GOD HAS DESTINED FOR ME! 👑✨

I truly believe that my YES SEASON is approaching.

My WINNING SEASON is coming.

My BREAKTHROUGH is on the horizon.

And when that season arrives, I’ll look back at moments like this and remember that even when I was hurting, I DIDN’T GIVE UP! 🙏🏽🦋

Some people may look at Princess Niya’s Boutique and see soaps, body butters, lip glosses, and skincare products.

But when I look at PNB…

I SEE SO MUCH MORE! 🥹👑

I see a LEGACY.

I see a COMMUNITY.

I see OPPORTUNITY.

I see GENERATIONAL GROWTH.

I see something my children can be proud of.

I see a place where people can feel welcomed, loved, appreciated, and celebrated.

I see an EMPIRE in the making! 👑🏰✨

And I know that everybody won’t understand the vision GOD gave me.

Everybody won’t celebrate my growth.

Everybody won’t support my journey.

And unfortunately, everybody who smiles in your face doesn’t always have your best interests at heart.

BUT THAT’S OKAY!

Because I’ve learned that not everybody deserves access to YOU, your PEACE, your DREAMS, or your BUSINESS.

And sometimes protecting what you’re building means learning to love people from a DISTANCE.

That’s a lesson I’m taking with me as I continue growing PNB. ❤️‍🩹

Unfortunately, because everything was destroyed, I don’t have the pictures or videos of the beautiful products I created.

And as much as it breaks my heart, our October Awareness Collections won’t look the way I originally planned this year.

But here’s what I want you to know…

THE AWARENESS DOESN’T STOP JUST BECAUSE THE PRODUCTS ARE GONE! 🙌🏽

We’re STILL going to honor our loved ones.

We’re STILL going to remember our angel babies.

We’re STILL going to celebrate survivors.

We’re STILL going to spread awareness.

We’re STILL going to educate.

And we’re STILL going to use our platform to make a DIFFERENCE! 🩷💜🩵

Our posts may look a little different this October, but the MESSAGE and the PURPOSE remain the SAME!

⚕️ HEALTH — waking up, breathing, moving, healing, and having another opportunity to take care of yourself.

⏰ TIME — another day to love, laugh, grow, heal, forgive, create memories, chase your dreams, and get closer to God.

🚪 Thank Him for the doors He opened—and the ones He closed to protect you.
🌱 Thank Him for the growth you couldn’t see while you were going through it.
✨ And thank Him for the blessings that are still on the way!

Sometimes we become so focused on what we DON’T HAVE that we forget how blessed we already are. 💯

Everything may not be perfect. You may still be waiting on answers, praying for breakthroughs, working toward goals, healing from things you don’t talk about, or trying to figure out your next move.

But look at you… YOU’RE STILL HERE. 🙌🏽

This is NOT the season to shrink back. 🚫
