First day of first grade! 🎉
Last year it took him two whole months to not need me to drive him to school and walk him to the front door and give him endless hugs. I still drove him to school everyday, but he started wanting to ride the bus home. This year he refused to let me drive him. He wanted to take the bus to and from school. He literally went running out of the front door and forgot to hug me. 🥹
My beautiful, smart, funny, energetic, fun loving and massively independent boy is not so little anymore. I am beyond proud of the young man he’s is going to be one day and although I wish time would slow down I can’t wait to see the differences he makes in this world! I love you!
