Yeah, life tried to get the best of me.
It tore me down, broke me apart and did everything it could to keep me in pieces.
But what life didn’t count on was that I’m a warrior, strong in all the ways that matter.
I may have an iron will and a determined spirit, but I’ll always have a soft heart and kind love.
I’ve had to learn that I can’t just force my everything and every situation…sometimes, I need a gentle touch to resolve some situations.
But make no mistake, when times get tough and I need to dig deep and find my strength, that’s just what I do.
All those times when I thought I couldn’t keep going, had nothing left and didn’t have anywhere to turn..
Those are the instances where I found something inside of me that I didn’t know I had that pushed me to rise above whatever challenges I faced.
I learned from every failure.
I put myself back together better after every time I fell apart.
I grew stronger with each broken heart, dead end and bad decision.
I realized that when things got hard and life seemed intent on bringing me to my knees..
It also reminded me how strong I was and capable of overcoming anything that came my way.
I may not have always gotten what I wanted, but I inevitably got what I needed…
To learn, to grow, to evolve.
Life’s storms threatened to pull me under the tides of trouble…
But it showed me instead how to dance in the rain.
I may not always have great days and easy , but I’ve learned more about myself during those tough times and struggles than I could have ever learned any other way.
I can handle whatever life wants to throw at me.
What didn’t break me just made me stronger..
And now, there’s nothing I can’t do.
Bring it on, life.
I’m ready..
I’ll show you just how strong you’ve made me.
You’ll never keep a good woman down.
