UPDATE: 1 month post-op, so far so good! Has my first official massage outside of myself with and it was AMAZING!!!!!! Still have 20lbs to lose but with the all vegan diet in Indonesia that will be simple.

🔈LIPOSUCTION UPDATE:

Ok, As You All Know, I Was At 200lbs Earlier This Year. Through Working Out and Dieting I Came Down 20lbs To 180 Which Still Put Me Over My BMI Because I Am Barely 5’4.

I Am Still Swollen and Retaining Fluid In My Thighs and A Small Pouch In My Fupa That Needs To Stay Manually Manipulated (done nightly by me) In Order To Continuously Drain Via My Lymphatic System.

I Still Need To Go Get A Massage Or Two By Most Definitely (been waiting for this experience for a while 🥰🤗).

Overall, This Recovery Isn’t As Easy As My Last Two Primarily Because I Was Overweight (being out and moving around probably didn’t help any 🥴)…. In Any Case, BACK TO THE GYM NEXT WEEK Starting With 6am Bootcamp 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💯!

And No, It Isn’t Cheap but it’s what I did for my food truck and now I’m seeing replicas of almost the same illustration and name popping up for which I encouraged the new owner to go ahead and start the trademark process which then personified the need for me to go do the same for my products line and the logo.

I encourage ALL business owners to protect your brand! There are trademark trolls, copy cats and people with no sense of individuality that will come in, take your style, ideas, etc and make it their own with no shame 😡😤!

Can we stop using the term Lymphatic massage for all post op care treatments..

Lymphatic massage is not the same as a postop care treatment!

Lymphatic massages reduce swelling yes ( but does not treat hardening)

Hardening happens naturally after plastic Surgery! And im sorry to say but a lymphatic massage treatment does almost nothing but  continues to guide the hardening…

Why does is hurts sometimes… well .. because its not a lymphatic massage they are doing … everyone’s threshold is different…

Each treatments should be customized and not the same cookie cutter treatment .. every visit should be different because your body is changing .. treatments should evolve as you are evolving.. thats what a postop care treatment consist of

A specially trained postop care specialist will be proactive to the hardening.. they will treat  and minimize hardening before it becomes an issue ( fibrosis ) while reducing swelling .. and being proactive doesn’t mean  comfortable… but it doesn’t mean excruciating either..

Just know the difference and know how to vet your therapists

🗣THIS WAS ME

In past tense meaning that I am NOT a victim but a survivor of being hunted, stalked and kidnapped into submission. Tied up and gagged only escaping through a violent attack and the grace of God.

3 long years of trials, a hung jury, 2 other victims in which this animal did the same to, one unfortunately not escaping with her life but instead being left, naked and violated under a tree in a cemetery.

I didn’t know I needed the assistance of professionals until it manifested in my relationship and I began taking on bad habits. That’s where my therapy began and through self awareness, realizations and therapy I became an advocate in the winter of 2019.

Sadly, due to the pandemic, the organizations I joined and speaking arrangements I had lined up to bring awareness to predatory men and women went awry and my efforts took a back seat to my budding business and ! With some recent news and events, I plan to go full on in my efforts with charitable donations to survivors and families of whom loved ones are missing, fund raising, speaking engagements and more advocacy programs for post trauma.
