es about a year after my son was born. I called a photographer who wanted a sitting fee and the 20x24 canvas I wanted was going to cost $500.00. That's when I decided it was time for me to do it myself. Even when I went to places like Walmart or JCPenney's, I always ended up spending $200-$300 dollars. I was lured in by their "special" and then couldn't resist the pictures, hence spending so much money. I'm not a fan of the "studio" look. I decided to make a business out of it so normal people could have BIG pictures without paying the crazy amount that most photographers charge. I charge only a sitting fee and give you a copy write free disk. You are then able to process them anywhere you want. I also give you the option to order through me using professional companies to process your images at my cost. So there is no mark-up on the pictures.
