Born 5/30/84 my 9th grade year, nothing would’ve prepared me for this kind of love. My first love, that song was written for us. You came home from the hospital right to my bed. We slept nose to nose, cheek to cheek from day one. You were my one and only son, God knew I couldn’t handle having my own son that’s why I have 2 daughters. You are hands down the best BROTHER to Coi and Isha 💙. You were one of the baddest little boys I have ever known, but you had to get out of your system to be become the man that you are today. One thing for sure two things for certain, you better not say nothing to him, cause you had to come through me.. 42 years later I created a spoiled little boy. I’m so proud to see your transformation from boyhood to manhood. My poohbear you have taken so many great steps, you have grown to be a man a responsible man. The love that you have for your family is unmatched. I love how passionate you are, how caring you are. You may be the LOUDEST in the room at times, but that comes with love. You are one of the most EMOTIONAL beings that I know, but that comes with love. You may be MISUNDERSTOOD at times but that comes with love. You wear your heart on your sleeve(s) at all times. I pray that 42 brings you more wisdom, more happiness, more impact, more generational blessings. Walk into year 42 confidently knowing you are loved, appreciated, seen and heard. God continue to Grace him and protect him. I love me some you

Happy Woman’s International Day. In life there’s so many chapters that we as women go through. The first chapter is childhood, free and clear. No worries you’re just trying to live in happiness playing with your siblings and cousins not realizing your building relationships. The next chapter is Adolescent years, acne and going through menstrual cycles not knowing it’s preparing for your body for perimenopause and menopause. Building more relationships through school years and still having those bonds teach you how to be present in life. The next chapter is Adulthood, figuring out what you should be doing, pursuing life and living through trials and tribulations. The next chapter is Motherhood, this is by far my favorite chapter, I may have not done it traditionally with marriage and with one baby father, I had two, and I did it my way!!!! I was a strict mom, not that I’m proud of it, I just seen a lot and wanted to love my daughters differently and if strict was a love language, then I spoke it fluently unapologetically. My mother parenting style was different from mine, she loved us down, she spoiled us the way she knew how, I learned a lot from my mother 🌹… each generation parents differently. The next chapter is the finding your way chapter, I had parented my children where I was so involved, that I had to remember I was more than a mother and to this day I still struggle with that, I honor my daughters so much, their love means the world to me. The next chapter is the evolving into an entrepreneur. This chapter you can really lose yourself, because you’re birthing something else, you have to feed it, nurture it and in reverse it can strip you of you. Life can Discipline you or you’ll be subject to the ways of defeat, but you have to grab it by the balls,as the saying goes. This new chapter, dealing with perimenopause and menopause is life changing, however I’m showing up for myself and living my authentic life. There’s more to my story, my future looks promising, my light is shining brighter, the best years of my life are ahead of me. HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMAN’S DAY.
