When you’re just really feeling like a whole box of animal crackers cuz you got the coolest hair at preschool. 🤷🏼‍♀️

A big long post is coming about how black box dye is legit the devil. But on the plus side, this cuteness got to spend 7 hours with me today 😂. First session of many while we get her hair to a brighter, and less maintenance color. Patience is key for healthy hair, and today she was a trooper! As much as I’d love to wave a magic wand and have miracles happen, sometimes it just isn’t that easy. But I love you guys for trusting me, trusting the process, and being amazing clients. 💕 goodnight and happy weekend!

Coppers Are my favvvv in case I haven’t told y’all that before. Idc if fall hair is over. I will still recommend copper all day long. Especially when they’re this poppin. Copper is a fantastic way to add some bright dimension if you’re not ready to go to the dark side of fashion colors (we’re fun over here, I promise). Also, that white money piece 🤌🏼 perfect

Working our way to a natural grey transition from box dye 😖. This is our second session and we’re already getting some really pretty gray going on. We had to pull a lot of the color out and cancel those warm tones, and do it safely, so patience is key. The last picture is how she came to this appt. The first appt we lightened her up some, low lighted with a demi between to cancel some warmth and decided at the next appt we’d tackle some color removal of the old box dye and continue to lighten to get to the goal of matching her natural gray coming in as close as possible to make the transition more seamless than a harsh grow out line of demarcation. These type of challenges take a lot of time in the chair. And it’s a team effort for the client to maintain the heath of the hair at home so I can work my magic behind the chair. My first line of defense of olaplex for the task. If you’re not building the strength of your hair up between appointments, it really limits what I can do AT your appointment. With proper care we can make a pretty good team though, and get you to your hair goals 💕.
