Cohasset fireworks are going to be celebrated at Sandy Beach on July 2. The Sandbar will be open all evening selling ice cream snacks and drinks. We also will have lobster rolls. The Sandbar is open for the season!! This summer we will officially be going cashless. An easier and more efficient system for everyone! Can’t wait to see everyone at the beach for another amazing summer. ☀️

On Sunday the Sandy Beach Lifeguards braved the cold water and strong winds as they completed their annual training. All Guards are trained through the American Red Cross and receive a Lifeguard certification that includes CPR and AED. In addition, all guards must complete “Open Water” training that specializes in water rescues using paddle boards and rescue equipment.

We can’t wait for opening day! Here’s some of our amazing staff getting the beach ready. We open for the season on Saturday, June 8th at 10am. See you then!
