I had the pleasure of having one of my former favorite students visit me today before I leave Southeastern College on Friday. She’s always a breath of fresh air; the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet. I had the privilege of educating her a couple of years ago and now she is in the beauty industry thriving and trusting God throughout the process. I was gifted some parting gifts last week from my favorite coworker, Lauren. She decided to get me right early 😂😂😂 (insider). These past 3 years have been great and I’m excited to begin my new venture…nothing hair related. I’ll still be behind the chair, but monthly so make sure you schedule your appointments accordingly. September is spoken for and the first half of October. Peace and blessings.

My students and I attended the Waajid World Natural Hair Show in Atlanta, Georgia this past weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the networking, black owned businesses, the vibes, and all the great people. My prayer is that they envision themselves on the stage this time next year or working in the capacity that I know they can.
