My students and I attended the Waajid World Natural Hair Show in Atlanta, Georgia this past weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the networking, black owned businesses, the vibes, and all the great people. My prayer is that they envision themselves on the stage this time next year or working in the capacity that I know they can.

Thank God for a great friend! I thank her for pushing me past my fear and moving into her salon years ago. From the beginning and until now I’m beyond blessed with clients. She STILL sends people my way. It was only right to select her to come in as our school’s Occupational Specialist for the cosmetology program. Love her long time 🫶🏾❤️ Dee Beatty

National Wear Red Day is intended to help raise awareness of heart disease, in particular among women. The first Friday in February is a day to support women by wearing red & raising awareness for the number one killer of women. Cardiovascular disease takes a woman's life approximately every 80 seconds.
