And this is why two clients can receive the same adhesive, same prep, same application and same lash artist and come back with completely different retention. Lifestyle, skin, watery eyes, home care, lash growth cycles, medications/hormonal changes, and environment can all play a part.
For your clients, I really like the simple rule: CLEAN → RINSE → DRY → BRUSH. Especially after crying, sweating, swimming, or anything that leaves the lashes wet or dirty. 🦋
And your UV adhesive can help with humidity/curing consistency, but it still doesn't make the extensions immune to buildup, oils, rubbing, or poor aftercare.

A new month, a grateful heart, and so much to look forward to. 🤎

This past month taught me A LOT! Being at the salon has pushed me outside of my comfort zone, helped me gain some amazing new clientele, and given me the opportunity to continue learning and growing in my craft. 🥹💕

I’m especially grateful for my sister, Maria Foust. 🫶🏼 Thank you for opening this door for me, teaching me, encouraging me, and giving me the opportunity to grow alongside you. Having my sister in my corner during this next chapter means more than I can say.

I’ve also learned that growth means finding balance. I did A LOT of late appointments this past month 😂 and while I’ll still offer some later appointments during this next season, I’ve realized they can’t be an everyday thing. Protecting time for myself, my husband, my family, and life outside of work is important too. 💕

✨ NEW BUSINESS HOURS — EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1ST, 2026 ✨

As my business continues to grow and my schedule at the salon & the suite at home has gotten busier, I’ve realized I have to be more intentional about making time for my husband, my family, myself, and simply enjoying LIFE. 💗

Starting October 1st, Sundays will be completely OFF for me. I will no longer be taking Sunday appointments.

I will also no longer be regularly lashing after 5:00 PM Eastern. I understand that sometimes schedules make regular hours difficult, and YES, there may be times I can accommodate an after-hours appointment so don't hesitate to privately message me. ;) Those can be discussed privately with me and will be based on availability. I will have a few Saturdays 9am & 10am eastern available so keep a look out.

I LOVE what I do and I’m beyond thankful to stay so busy, but I’m also learning that I have to protect time for the life I work so hard for. I need time to be a wife to Cory Livingston aka Hunny - be present with my family, and have time for ME too. 🩷
