Bleed marks. Come on we’ve all had it happen! A bleed can happen from a few different reasons, lightener swelling, a foil slipping, not getting close enough to the scalp with the foil, too much product..so on. But bottom line, it can be fixed - and should be fixed. This is when the stylist needs to be transparent in their communication, take accountability for the oopsie (or 2) & reassure the client that they’d be more than happy to fix it if they have a few extra minutes..not let them walk out the door without acknowledging their mistake.

This was a first time client of mine - she was 3 weeks out from her last foil, unhappy with the results, and had NO idea what the back of her head looked like. This is when I was transparent with her. So happy we got her where she wanted to be💖
