Two years ago, One of Them Herbal Wives was just an idea sitting on my kitchen counter. I was mixing ingredients, testing recipes, and hoping I could create products that people would feel good about bringing into their homes.

I never expected to meet so many kind people at markets, package orders for customers across North Carolina, or have complete strangers trust me with something they use on themselves and their families. Every purchase, encouraging message, and conversation at my booth reminds me why I started.

Thank you for supporting a small business that chooses simple ingredients, small batches, and quality over shortcuts. I can’t wait to see what the next two years has in store 🫶🏻

A few moments from this month! A lot happens behind the scenes of a small handmade business. There are batches being mixed, labels being printed, products being tested, market tables being set up, and a whole lot of time spent making sure each item feels special when it reaches you.

I started One of Them Herbal Wives because I wanted to create simple, ingredient-conscious self-care products that felt good to use and share.

This is the perfect chance to smell each scent before you choose, feel the texture of my whipped tallow moisturizers, and test products in person.

I’ll have my full lineup of handmade bath and body products, including herbal tea baths, tinted whipped tallow moisturizers, tallow lotion bars, tinted tallow lip balms, beeswax candles, foot soaks, and spray and roller perfumes.

Everything is made in small batches with thoughtfully chosen ingredients. I can’t wait to meet you and help you find your new favorite products. Stop by and say hello if you’re in the area!

Sometimes the finished product gets all the attention, but recipe testing is where the work happens. It’s also my favorite part of making natural bath products and nontoxic skincare because I get to tweak my process until I’m happy with the results. Creating is fun for me! Every new product goes through batch after batch until the texture, color, and feel are right. If I wouldn’t use it for my own family, it doesn’t make it to my shop.

That’s one of the reasons I love making handmade, small batch bath and body products.

Every bath bomb starts with simple ingredients and a lot of hands-on work. I make each batch from start to finish because I care about what goes into the products you bring home.
