SOS by Jesse Lee had the pleasure of taking a new friend, River, to his grooming appointment this morning. I thank his humans for trusting me with his travels today. Here are the before and after photos! Diamond in the Ruff in Greenbrier always does a great job with River's grooming!

SOS by Jesse Lee answers a WIDE variety of needs & wants. Last week, I got a call from a local title company asking if I had time, and if so, would I go by a house that was closing that day to dig up a fig tree sapling that had special meaning to their client. Of course, I made time to do this! The client had sold the house & was moving out of town. The fig tree that had taken root had been started by the client's spouse who had recently passed away. The buyer of the property had given their blessing for it to be taken. Not only does SOS by Jesse Lee care, but Pro Land Title Company has a big heart for their clients, too!

Today's SOS by Jesse Lee venture was to Morrilton, pick up two clients who are visually handicapped and take them to their nail salon appointment.

SOS by Jesse Lee had the fun privilege of feeding some goats, chickens, and Norman, the pig last week! I didn't get any photos of the new, sweet little chicks. They were a little camera shy.

Long post warning -
Today, SOS by Jesse Lee begins it's 4th year in business! What started as an idea to help (mostly) elderly folks with small household chores such as changing ceiling fan light bulbs, or replacing a/c filters, & opening canned goods, putting them in small managable containers, has evolved into much more than that. While I still do those things and grocery shop for some, I also feed, water, & walk pets during a family's vacation. I take pets to the vet when needed. I run errands and documents all over Central Arkansas. SOS by Jesse Lee drives people to medical appointments, train station, & the airport, as well.
With 235 repeating clients (and many more last-minute non-scheduled runs), our business has succeeded far more than originally expected, and is growing. This year, we formed an LLC, and decided to run our service more as we like to refer it "a service run with personality, safety, & commitment".
A huge thank you to the local medical offices, churches, senior facilities & businesses who allow me to place our placards and cards in their lobbies. And, also, to those patient advocates who call on behalf of their patients to schedule rides.
It began with a few friends & fellow area business leaders who wrote recommendation letters for me. Thank you Richard Weaver, Donna Remler Rogers, Anthony D. Sitz, Vicki Leith, & Kimberly Wood Lassiter for helping this old, retired mailman succeed in providing a much needed service to Central Arkansas. Thank you to all of my clients who trust me with their transportation and everyday needs.
