I absolutely LOVE heavy highlights!

✨What’s a heavy highlight? Great question, let’s break it down.
Most of y’all are familiar with the terms “partial” or “full”, but I go a step further with “heavy”.
As a rough estimate:
A partial highlight amounts to less than 30 foils with a 30min application time.
A full highlight amounts to between 30 and 65 foils with a 45-60min application time.
A heavy highlight is anything over 65 foils with a 60-90+min application time.
✨Do you actually count the foils as you put them in?
No, but I do like to count them when I remove them. It satisfies my OCD. It’s honestly more of a guesstimate decided upon during a consultation. If we agreed to a partial and I end up putting 33 foils in your hair instead of 30, it’s still considered a partial. I allow some wiggle room.
This particular heavy highlight amounted to 83 foils and 90ish minutes of application. 83 y’all!
