What is Cupping Therapy?

It is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Praying that you all are staying safe!

Massage therapy can provide healing and pain relief for people suffering from low back pain caused by muscle tension and strain, by targeting the Quadratus lumborum (QL) and Gluteus medius muscles. If you are suffering from low back pain, schedule an appointment today.

Yes You Can!

While there is currently no cure for lymphedema, treatments focus on reducing the swelling and controlling the pain. A special massage technique called manual lymph drainage may encourage the flow of lymph fluid out of your arm or leg. As a practitioner of manual lymph drainage, I may be able to help if you are suffering from Lymphedema. Call me today to schedule an appointment. Note: Massage isn’t for everyone. Avoid massage if you have a skin infection, blood clots or active disease in the involved lymph drainage areas.

Let me undo the knots in your body and help you let go of stress.

Make the call!

When experiencing a migraine, my clients tell me pain relief is one of their primary objectives. Massage therapy can help ease the muscle tension in the neck, jaw, and shoulders and has been recognized as a way for migraine sufferers to better manage their pain. If you suffer from migraines, let me help you find relief faster and, perhaps, stay pain-free longer.

Keep Going, Keep Growing.

Piriformis syndrome occurs when the piriformis muscle irritates the sciatic nerve. Sciatica can be described by pain, tingling, or numbness deep in the buttocks and along the sciatic nerve. Sitting down, stretching, climbing stairs, and performing squats usually increases pain. If diagnosed with piriformis syndrome, massage therapy have been shown to help.

Don't worry. I'm a professional!

The hip flexors are a group of muscles in the front of your hip that lift your knee and raise your thigh towards your stomach. Stretching and massaging your hip flexors can help loosen these muscles and decrease pain. It can also increase flexibility.

Say goodbye to stress. Schedule your massage today.

Sciatic pain flares up when the sciatic nerve roots in your lower back are pinched or irritated. Massage therapy can loosen the muscles in your lower back and help prevent or relieve pinching and/or irritation. Massage also encourages the release of pain-fighting endorphins. This can provide temporary relief from symptoms like the throbbing pain in your foot or the burning sensation in your leg.

Carpal tunnel is a painful condition in which the median nerve that connects the forearm and hand becomes pinched at the wrist. Symptoms include burning, tingling or numbness in the palm, thumb and middle fingers. It can also lead to difficulty forming a fist or gripping small objects. Treatments usually consist of medication, wrist braces and surgery. But a study in the Journal of Bodywork and Movement reported that carpal tunnel patients receiving regular massage had less pain, reduced symptoms and improved grip strength.

Do you have a rotator cuff injury? Massage has been shown help reduce inflammation and scar tissue build up as well as helping to realign torn fibers, and decrease pain.
