🚪💧 LYMPHIES… YOUR LYMPH HAS ONE-WAY DOORS!
Yes. Actual tiny valves.
And they are sitting inside your collecting lymphatic vessels helping lymph travel in the right direction. 🤯
Most people imagine the lymphatic system as a network of little tubes where fluid simply “flows.”
But your lymphatic vessels are far more sophisticated than that.
Let’s zoom in. 🔬💚
💧 FIRST… HOW DOES FLUID BECOME LYMPH?
Your cells live surrounded by fluid called interstitial fluid.
Some of this fluid enters tiny initial lymphatic capillaries.
Once it enters the lymphatic system…
✨ we call it LYMPH.
From there, lymph begins its journey through progressively larger lymphatic vessels.
But there’s a problem…
Gravity exists.
Pressure changes.
Your body moves.
So how does your lymphatic system help stop lymph from simply moving backwards?
🚪 ENTER THE ONE-WAY VALVES.
Inside collecting lymphatic vessels are delicate valves that help maintain directional lymph flow.
Here’s the clever part:
1️⃣ Pressure causes the valve ahead to open.
💧 Lymph moves forward.
2️⃣ The valve behind closes, helping prevent backflow.
3️⃣ The next valve opens and lymph continues its journey.
Open. ➡️
Move. ➡️
Close. 🚪
Repeat.
But WAIT…
It gets even cooler. 🤓
💚 THE SPACE BETWEEN TWO VALVES HAS ITS OWN NAME.
It’s called a:
✨ LYMPHANGION ✨
A lymphangion is a functional pumping segment of a collecting lymphatic vessel between two valves.
And unlike the idea that lymphatic vessels are just passive little pipes…
collecting lymphatic vessels contain smooth muscle and can contract rhythmically.
🤯🤯🤯
These intrinsic contractions help propel lymph from one segment toward the next.
Movement, breathing and changes in surrounding tissue pressure can also influence lymph transport.
So when you hear:
❌ “The lymphatic system doesn’t have a pump.”
There is an important bit of context missing.
It is true that the lymphatic system does not have one central pump like the heart.
BUT…
💚 Collecting lymphatic vessels can actively contract.
💚 Lymphangions function as pumping units.
💚 One-way valves help limit backflow.
💚 External forces such as muscle movement and breathing also contribute to lymph transport.
Your lymphatic system isn’t just a bunch of passive drainage tubes.
It is a dynamic biological transport network.
And all day long, without you thinking about it…
tiny valves are opening…
lymph is moving forward…
and those valves are closing behind it.
🚪💧🚪💧🚪
Your body is absolutely INCREDIBLE.
Now tell me, Lymphies…
👇👇👇
BEFORE TODAY, DID YOU KNOW YOUR LYMPHATIC VESSELS HAD ONE-WAY VALVES?
💚 YES! I knew!
😲 NO! You just taught me something!
I want to see how many people knew this one! 😂👇

What are your plans for the weekend?
Mine: advanced training at the Next Level Institute of Bodywork in Corvallis.
Neuromuscular Reprogramming (NMR) is a specialized form of bodywork that engages the motor control center in the brain to rewrite and correct dysfunctional movement and postural patterns.
It uses a combination of muscle testing, neural communication, and retraining sequences to address the root cause of chronic pain and stiffness by targeting the relationship between your brain and your muscles to fix faulty movement patterns.

When we experience chronic pain, injuries, or stress, our body’s tissues change at a cellular level. To understand why Dolphin MPS is so effective at relieving pain, we have to look past the surface and dive into the electrophysiology of your cells and fascia.
1. Cellular Repolarization
Every cell in your body acts like a tiny battery, maintaining a specific electrical potential across its membrane. When tissue is injured, scarred, or chronically inflamed, it loses this vital charge. Without it, fascia—the continuous web of connective tissue wrapping around your muscles—becomes stiff, sticky, dehydrated, and locked in a compressed state.
The Dolphin device delivers a localized, low-frequency Direct Current (DC) microcurrent that mimics the body’s natural bio-electricity. By introducing this gentle current, it helps repolarize the damaged cells. This electrical reset signals the tightly bound fascial fibers to absorb fluid, soften, and glide smoothly over one another again.
2. De-Regulating the Nervous System
When your body is in pain, your Autonomic Nervous System often gets trapped in a sympathetic "fight-or-flight" loop. In this state, the brain continuously orders your muscles to stay rigid and "guarded" to protect the area.
Instead of trying to physically force a guarded muscle to relax, MPS targets specific neurological and acupuncture points to calm the nervous system. Once these micro-impulses signal the brain that the threat is gone, the nervous system exits protection mode, and the rigid tissue naturally lets go from the inside out.
3. Autologous Endorphin Release
The specific, low-frequency wavelengths of the device are structurally engineered to stimulate the synaptic clefts in the nervous system. This trigger causes the body to flood the targeted area with endorphins—our natural, internal painkillers. This biochemical rush acts as a potent, localized muscle relaxant, allowing deep-seated trigger points to dissolve without requiring aggressive, high-pressure physical manipulation.
4. Breaking the "Fascial Pull"
Fascia is a single, interconnected sheet that runs from your head to your toes. A deep adhesion or surgical scar acts like a tight knot tied in the middle of a fabric t-shirt—it pulls and creates tension far away from the actual knot. By applying microcurrent across these physical restrictions, the Dolphin draws energy directly through the dense, disorganized collagen fibers of a scar or adhesion. This process breaks the erratic bonds of the tissue, restoring structural alignment and relieving the invisible "tug-of-war" happening beneath the skin.
Dolphin MPS doesn't just mask pain; it changes the bio-electrical and chemical environment of your tissues so they can finally return to a healthy, relaxed state.
