What Was Completed (Week of Aug 17)
Paving: South side of 80th St between Hinton Ave & Ideal Ave paved; gravel base prepared.

Infrastructure: Storm sewer repairs completed; concrete ramp removals on southern Hwy 61 ramps finished.

Bridges & Landscaping: Progress on concrete approach panels at Hwy 61 and West Point Douglas Rd; corridor landscaping ongoing.

Upcoming Work (Week of Aug 24)
Final Paving & Markings: Preparing and paving the final lift on 80th St (Hinton Ave to Ideal Ave), followed by striping and signage.

Intersection Work: Street excavation & paving on the south half of 80th St & East Point Douglas Rd.

Ramp & Utility Progress: Southern Hwy 61 ramp grading begins; work continues on bridge approach panels, lighting, curbs, and the Hyde Ave temporary signal.

🚧 as we all know construction season is in full swing! 80th st is closed in spots and both inbound and outbound exits onto rt61 from 80th are closed.

I recommend putting the salon address in your gps to find the best route during this time! Delays are inevitable but we will figure it out. Let me know if you have any questions.
