Introducing our student, Meg Booker, who is pursuing a master’s in vocal performance. She will be graduating in May of 2027.
This summer, Meg is traveling to Philadelphia, PA, to present research about the female voice at the Voice Foundation Symposium and to Hawai’i for the Performing Arts Festival, where she will play the role of Carrie Pipperidge in the musical Carousel.
Her advice for music students is to always ask for help if needed and to take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way.
Meg would like to get her DMA so she can keep teaching at the collegiate level. She says, “I had so many wonderful teachers and mentors during my time in school, and I want to carry on their teaching legacy.”

So much fun running into the Chair of Vocal Music at GSA (and my former roomie) on campus at NKU! Can't wait to join them for a vocal master class and yoga workshop in a couple of weeks!

It really was the most perfect night for a concert! ☀️Thanks to the Wyoming Fine Arts Center and the Village of Wyoming for co-hosting us!
