Just finished microneedling? Here’s what to expect!

Right after your treatment, your skin may look red, flushed, or slightly swollen—similar to a mild sunburn. You may also experience warmth, tightness, or mild sensitivity. This is completely normal and typically begins to calm within the first 24–48 hours.

Post-care is just as important as the treatment itself. 🤍

For the first few days:
• Keep your skin clean and hydrated with the products recommended
• Avoid makeup for the timeframe recommended after your treatment
• Skip exfoliants, retinoids, acids, and other active ingredients until your skin has fully recovered
• Avoid excessive heat, sweating, saunas, hot tubs, and strenuous exercise
• Be diligent with sun protection and avoid prolonged sun exposure
• Don’t pick, peel, or exfoliate any flaking skin—let it heal naturally
• Keep your hands off of your face as much as possible

As your skin heals, you may notice some dryness, tightness, or light peeling. This is part of the normal healing process.

And the best part? Microneedling works beyond what you see immediately after treatment. As your skin goes through its healing process, it begins producing new collagen and elastin, helping improve the appearance of texture, tone, fine lines, acne scars, and overall skin quality.
