I totally understand not liking your hair or a miscommunication happens in the consultation that can be adjusted, but if you feel you never like your hair and have never met a hairdresser than can do your hair “right” then respectfully the problem isn’t with your hairdresser 🙏🏼

And this is just an appreciation post for my sweet client who is my OG client from when I moved to Dallas. I slid into her DMs and said “I should do your hair” and she said ok bet, I’ll book. And she’s followed me ever since. Four different locations, each time an upgrade, and each time her cheering me on. Thank you for your support since the beginning 🫶🏼 I’ll never forget it

It’s been a minute since I posted about me and I’ve had an influx of followers sooo—

I’ve been doing hair for 10 years now 👵🏼 I mostly focus on color and extensions because that’s way more fun and who doesn’t love long hair 💇🏻‍♀️

I have a Pomeranian named Penelope she’s the love of my life, I take her everywhere with me. She’s flown on airplanes more times than most people.

My husband and I love to travel, we try to take one big trip a year. We just got back from North Africa and Europe, and hope to see more of Africa next year 🧿

When I’m not working or traveling I’m working on our eBay store, learning to sew more (I’m starting to make my own clothes), or learning Arabic. My dad’s family is from Lebanon and I want to be able to speak and understand my language as it was lost when they immigrated to the US. It’s really hard, I’ve been learning for over 2 years and my teachers have a lot of patience for me 😅

My mom’s side is from Sicily and my husband just took us to my family’s ancestral town called Sciacca where I learned more about my family that stayed in Italy. 🇮🇹 I’m excited to learn more soon too!

My Moroccan blow dry experience was good, but it was definitely better in Lebanon.

Nobody spoke English, only French and Arabic, I speak no French and my Arabic is 💩 so telling them what I wanted wasn’t easy. They also didn’t use any heat protectant products or any products before at all which I didn’t love. My blow dry didn’t last well because there were no products used beforehand so I don’t think I’d do it again at this location. It cost $15USD, which is expensive because it was at our hotel, in salons around Morocco I saw it cost $5USD.

Overall my favorite blowout abroad is still Lebanon 🇱🇧
