Dr. Rosemarie Ingleton
Dr. Ingleton, Medical Director of Ingleton Dermatology is known as the dermatologist to the stars. She is a national authority in general and cosmetic dermatology, skin products and treatments, and is a noted leader in treating ethnic skin, adult acne and in dermatologic surgery.
She launched Ingleton Dermatology in 1996, and moved to the historic Silk Building in 2001. Huda Kattan ;
Hudā Qaṭṭān; born October 2, 1983 is an American makeup artist, beauty blogger and entrepreneur. She is the founder of the cosmetics line Huda Beauty.
In April 2010, upon the advice of one of her sisters, Kattan started a beauty-related WordPress blog which she named “Huda Beauty” on which she would post makeup tutorials and tips.
In 2013, Kattan founded a cosmetics line which, like her blog, is also called “Huda Beauty.” Her first product, a series of false eyelashes, was released through Sephora. The Huda Beauty label achieved success with the sales of the false eyelashes, which were famously worn by Kim Kardashian.
Huda’s company, which is based in Dubai, later began to offer other beauty products, including eye shadow palettes, liquid lipsticks, lip liners, highlighter palettes, foundations, concealers, baking powders and liquid eyeshadows.
Kattan achieved popularity on Instagram, attaining more than 54 million followers as of 2025. Kattan is ranked #1 on the “2017 Influencer Instagram Rich List”, earning $18,000 for each post of sponsored content. Kattan has been described as “a Kim Kardashian of the beauty influencer economy”, and was declared one of the “ten most powerful influencers in the world of beauty” by Forbes magazine. She was chosen as one of “The 25 Most Influential People on the Internet” by Time magazine in 2017. Kattan has reportedly influenced entire brand and product line sales in the region. In 2017, after she mentioned a Foreo product on her YouTube channel, the brush sold out within a week in Harvey Nichols and Bloomingdale’s Dubai. In 2020, Kattan was listed on Fortune’s 40 Under 40 In 2021, she was ranked number one on Cosmetify’s Beauty Influencer Rich List.
In 2018, Kattan began starring in her own original Facebook Watch reality series entitled Huda Boss, alongside her family.
In 2021, Kattan participated in a campaign to provide food and donated one million meals through her cosmetics company Huda Beauty

Women’s History Month Spotlight 💕
Lisa Price;
Beauty products entrepreneur Lisa Price was born on May 18, 1962 in Brooklyn, New York. She is the founder of Carol’s Daughter, one of the first African American-owned product lines with a flagship store. Price attended public schools in New York, where she received her high school diploma.
In 1990, Price began making creams and lotions based on natural materials in her kitchen. Encouraged by family members and friends, she began Carol’s Daughter from her home in 1993. Her customers soon multiplied. By 1999, Price added mail-order, website and walk-in customers and her business moved from the parlor floor of her brownstone to a formal store in Brooklyn’s upscale Fort Greene area.
Supported by a staff of twenty-three, the Carol’s Daughter line boasts more than 300 aromatic products for the face, hair, body and home. Her clientele include celebrities like Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith, Halle Berry, Chaka Khan and Oprah Winfrey. In 2002, Carol’s Daughter grossed more than $2.25 million in sales. In 2004, Price along with Hillary Beard wrote her memoir, entitled Success Never Smelled So Sweet: How I Followed My Nose and Found My Passion. In 2005, a group of investors assisted her in opening a flagship store in Harlem on 125th Street.
Price makes time to give back to the community. Carol’s Daughter donates moneys, goods and services to not-for-profit organizations including the Arthur Ashe Foundation, Hale House, and the September 11th Fund. Her college speaking engagements and seminars encourage others to become entrepreneurs. Carol’s Daughter’s products are distributed nationwide.
Price lives in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn with her husband, Gordon, and sons Forrest and Ennis.

Fenty Beauty LLC (stylized as FEИTY BEAUTY) is a cosmetics brand of Rihanna and LVMH, launched on September 8, 2017. Popular for its broad inclusivity across various skin tones, its Pro Filt’R foundation became in high-demand upon its first release.
Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty in 2017, when she was 29 years old. Previously, she had collaborated with MAC Cosmetics, as well as released 10 fragrances via Parlux Ltd, but Fenty Beauty was her first solo cosmetics brand. She developed the line with luxury conglomerate Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessey (LVMH), signing a deal in 2016, to produce Fenty Beauty through LVMH’s Kendo division. Kendo Holdings, Inc is an “incubator” company that manufactures cosmetics as white-label products@for sale through cosmetics retailer Sephora, another LVMH subsidiary, as well as other outlets Women’s Wear Daily reported that LVMH may have paid $10 million (USD) for the agreement, which followed Kendo deals to produce Marc Jacobs Beauty and Kat Von D Beauty lines.
Rihanna created Fenty Beauty to provide an inclusive range for all skin tones, including extensive shade offerings for people with deeper skin tones, thus adding items to fill the void of products that performed across all skin tones and types

Pat McGrath;
Dame Patricia Ann McGrath DBE (born 1970) is a British make-up artist. She has been called the most influential make-up artist in the world by Vogue magazine and other commentators. In 2019 she was included in Time’s list of the 100 most influential people. She is the first make-up artist to be made a Dame Commander of the British Empire. In 2025 she was announced as creative director of cosmetics for La Beauté Louis Vuitton.
In March 2025, fashion brand Louis Vuitton announced it would begin selling beauty products, under the name La Beauté Louis Vuitton, in fall 2025 and tapped McGrath as creative director for the new venture. According to Forbes, McGrath’s official title is Creative Director of Cosmetics. McGrath’s collaboration with Louis Vuitton on the collection came after her longstanding relationship with the house’s artistic director of women’s collections, Nicolas Ghesquière, with whom McGrath has worked since his 2014 debut at the brand. The product line was developed over five years in a confidential process that included McGrath visiting and drawing inspiration from the historic home and atelier of Louis Vuitton in Asnières-sur-Seine, on the outskirts of Paris. The line officially launched on August 29, 2025. In October 2025, McGrath was the head make-up artist for the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. McGrath designed the make-up for models walking in the show, including Quenlin Blackwell and Women’s National Basketball Association player Angel Reese, using products from her line, Pat McGrath Labs.In November 2025, McGrath was honored as one of the 2025 Glamour Award Women of the Year.
