The Dallas Massage Therapist

Anxiety due to perfectionism ✅

What would you choose?

One of the best decisions I made for my treatment room was building my Ashiatsu bars on a frame instead of directly into the ceiling. 🙌

I’ve moved treatment spaces over the years, so being able to take my bars down and bring them with me has been SO helpful.

Every space is different, so measurements, ceiling height, room length, brackets and the right dowel rods all matter when planning your setup.

If you’re a massage therapist thinking about adding Ashiatsu to your treatment room, feel free to ask me questions! I’m happy to share what I’ve learned along the way. 😊

Always make sure your setup is properly installed and rated to safely support the loads involved.

This is how I set up my at-home treatment room 🫶🏽

I don’t really call my space a “spa” anymore because I’m working on evolving what I do and the types of treatments I offer.

I want to focus more on pain relief, movement, and helping people feel better in their bodies—and I’ve realized the word “spa” can sometimes create a different expectation for clients.

If you’re a newer massage therapist trying to figure out your own treatment space, feel free to reach out! I remember what it was like trying to figure all of this out on my own.

Maybe I’ll show you guys how I set up my treatment room at the office next 👀
