The holidays are a time to cherish those around you, and I am thankful to do so by supporting Found Families Christmas presented by Sapphic Tuesdays at Bampot Tea House 💖🔮 I will be donating my powderjelly face masks as gifts for the attendees.

Finding solidarity and community is essential for survival. I feel grateful to be in a position where I can give to the communities who have supported me as an LGBT+ immigrant in Toronto.

I made these masks back when my business was called Emberz Only Apothic. I rebranded to Terrene Perfumery when I realized perfumes are what call to me as an artist and brand owner.

Although I focus on perfume as my primary products today, I worked hard to create a shelf stable formula that employs esthetician practices to be accessible at home! The masks use an algae powder common in esthetician toolkits which works to repair the skin barrier and improve texture by retaining moisture.

Mix the powder with water, oil, honey, or yogurt until it becomes a jelly, apply for 10 minutes and wash off! Instructions and ingredients are on the packaging 😘

The Conch mask uses genuine Pearl powder, calamine, oat, and jasmine to soon sensitive, reactive skin. It reduces redness and repairs skin. Perfect for harsh climates (deserts, extreme temperature)

The Sea Glass mask (formerly the Jasper mask) is intended for extremely dry skin. Icelandic moss, lavender, slippery elm, and almond gently exfoliate while repairing dry cracks from environmental strain.

I won’t be in the country for the Found Families event, but I send all my good tidings and love to those who attend.

Thank you to everyone who came out on that cold Valentines Day weekend to participate in our tea perfume workshop. We had lots of unique and delectable creations to celebrate the season of love 💘. I loved seeing your creativity in action as we created perfumes unique to your taste and story!

What amazes me is every single person who has participated in these workshops made a fragrance exclusive to them…. No repeats yet! It’s also so fun to see how the weather influences our tastes. Everyone wanted warm, leathery scents to combat the snow ❄️

Terrene Perfumery will be returning to Bampot in May to host a workshop for Mothers Day! We can’t wait to celebrate with y’all.

In the meantime, Terrene Perfumery is working away on our own fragrance line wildcrafted from the fauna of the American Southwest (and my home of Texas). I’m hoping to have the initial launch sometime in the Spring! More on that soon.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the first Tea Perfume Workshop at Bampot Tea House this month 🌺🫧☕️🫖🌹

We had the opportunity to create organic perfumes using locally crafted scents made in house . Participants were guided to choose three fragrance notes to create their own unique blend of spicy, sweet, musky, and floral scents. We discussed how perfumes are made, what the perfumer needs to keep in mind when developing a perfume, and ways to make it last on the skin using plants sourced directly from our Earth. Each participant created unique sensual experiences that tell a story on the skin, and got to take home their own handmade perfume!

We will be conducting more of these workshops in the upcoming season. Stay tuned for exclusive “perfumers brunches”, Valentines Day and Mothers Day celebratory workshops. We are so excited to continue creating with you!
