Moooooove!

05/12/2020

Started habit stacking to build my immune system bc I am feeling a little restless with our world right now—-

Each day add one of the following while continuing the habits from previous days—-

Day 1–
get 8-9 hours of sleep (feels soo good & is a game changer for me. Through our time at home I had developed terrible habits around sleep. Back to 8-9 and feel a ton better)

Day 2–
8-9 hours of sleep
+ consume 100 oz of water (the water has reduced my hunger and snacking).

Day 3—
8-9 hours sleep
+ consume 100 oz of water
+ exercise vigorously for 30 minutes or more (sweating helps release toxins in your body)

Day 4——
8-9 hours sleep
+ consume 100 oz of water
+ exercise vigorously for 30 minutes or more
+meditate on something that is healing/positive for you for 4-5 minutes (cleanses the mind and helps me feel good energy)

Day 5—
8-9 hours sleep
+ consume 100 oz of water
+ exercise vigorously for 30 minutes or more
+ meditate on something that is healing for 4-5 minutes,
+ eliminate processed food (think fresh foods —fruits, veggies, nuts, 🥦🥒🥬🍎etc... nothing that has flour, sugar, corn syrup, basically anything out together in a factory). Processed foods cause inflammation, and from what I am learning the virus preys on people that have high levels of inflammation.

Day 6-10 continue the first 5 habits and choose one of the following to add each day OR whatever immune building habit you would like to incorporate.

—write down 5-10 things your are thankful for (gratitude changes my attitude.).

— spend time doing something that you enjoy. For me it’s a few minutes in the morning reading before the whole house wakes up. Do something that makes you feel happy!! 📖
📖

—sit outside in nature for 10-15 minutes. I like getting direct sunlight without sunscreen. It can elevate your mood rapidly! 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌻🌼🌸

— LOL- yes laugh out loud. I swear this is good for your immune system and overall well being. Luckily Pat makes me laugh hard most days, several times a day. Look at situations and try to find the humor in them. It makes everything 💯% better. 😂🤣🤣😂

— Reduce stress— that means different things for everybody. For me, it’s making sure there are clear work/home boundaries. At 4:00 I shut work down. I “leave the office.”

**excessive alcohol and smoking are bad for the immune system. But I know those are habits to quit versus build. If you have those habits it may help to start building positive habits and then slowly become easier to drop the bad.

Any other essential immune boosting tips???

Have to feel like I am doing something that is moving towards getting my life back to normal!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
