Did you know that some companies used plastic microbeads as exfoliators? So, when people washed their faces and rinsed off the plastic beads, the plastic beads would go down the drain, bypass our treatment filtration systems and then go to our lakes and oceans.😔

Luckily, the US government stepped in and banned plastic microbeads in 2015 (not actually taking effect until 2018).

Since 2014, we have been using a natural exfoliator that actually helps the environment! So, when we wash our faces and rinse off our Radiance Reveal Daily Moisturizing Scrub, we are helping the environment!

Our exfoliator, the chicken eggshell, is used in gardening as a fertilizer and is a food source for some animals (it's a source of calcium).
