After months of creating, testing, designing, packaging, and pouring my heart into every detail, Novel Rituals: In the Veins of the Drowning is officially available.

Created in collaboration with Kalie Cassidy, this collection was inspired by the characters and world of her book and made to bring pieces of the story beyond the pages and into your hands.

From Theodore's soap to the Imogen-inspired bath salt and sachet, every piece was created with the story in mind.

That idea is at the heart of Novel Rituals.

For the first collection, I wanted to take the world of In the Veins of the Drowning beyond the pages and turn pieces of it into something you could actually hold, smell, and experience.

A scent inspired by Theodore.

An Imogen-inspired bath salt.

A sachet created from the scents used to describe her in the book.

And all the little details that bring the collection together.

This has been one of the most involved projects I've created for Outis, and seeing it finally come together has been incredibly special.

The first Novel Ritual is almost here.

So... you've been wondering what Theodore smells like? 🖤

I can't answer for him, but I can tell you what I imagined.

For the first Novel Ritual, I created a soap inspired by Theodore from In the Veins of the Drowning.

Dark. Masculine. And, in my opinion, exactly the kind of scent that makes you wonder what he'd smell like up close.

So for all the ladies who have been wondering...

This is your chance to find out. 🕯️

But Theodore isn't the only character who made his way into this collection.

The Novel Ritual box also includes an Imogen-inspired bath salt and a sachet featuring the scents used to describe her in the book, bringing those details from the pages into something you can actually experience.

And behind all of that are the hours of work that went into bringing it together.

Introducing Novel Rituals. 🖤

I've been keeping this one under wraps for a while, and I'm finally ready to share it with you.

Novel Rituals is a new collaboration series from Outis, created to bring the worlds of books beyond the pages and into your hands. 📖

And for the very first Novel Ritual, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Little, Brown and Company, drawing inspiration from In the Veins of the Drowning by Kalie Cassidy to create this beautiful package.

This collection has been a labor of love from beginning to end. I poured so much time, thought, and heart into every detail, from the soaps themselves to the way the entire package comes together. 🕯️

This isn't just a new product for Outis. It's the beginning of something I've been dreaming about creating, and I truly hope this is the first of many Novel Rituals to come. 🥀

Shop update! 🍂 We only have a few more markets left this year. After that, I'll be shifting gears to some exciting new ventures for the online store this winter.
