3Β½ weeks after lipedema surgery and I’m already in EXTRA SMALL compression. 🀯

Nobody warned me about this part. πŸ˜‚

Recovery has definitely not been easy, but today I’m celebrating this little win.

My mind is honestly blown.

One day at a time. One size at a time. And apparently... several compression garments at a time. πŸ˜‚πŸ™Œ

3+ weeks post-op and apparently this is recovery now πŸ˜‚πŸ’‡β€β™€οΈ

Compression on. Feet up. Hair getting done.

After the last couple of weeks, getting out of the house and doing something this normal feels like a BIG deal. πŸ’—

Healing isn’t always dramatic progress. Sometimes it looks like sitting in a salon chair, realizing you’re slowly getting pieces of your life back.

Today, I’ll take it. πŸ™Œ

Week 3 Post-Op Legs 360Β° has been interesting. I'm getting better day by day!

I'm getting better every day!

Day 17 is much better than Day 16. I was doing so well and then spiked a high fever. It was rough but I'm on meds, and my temp is now normal.

I'm grateful to be in the mend. One day at a time!

Two weeks ago I had 360Β° lipedema surgery on both legs.

Recovery has been one of the hardest things I've ever experienced, but today I finally feel like I'm turning a corner.

✨ No pain medication for 2 days
✨ Sleeping better
✨ Moving more easily
✨ Becoming more independent
✨ Feeling hopeful again

If you're living with lipedema, I want you to know you're not alone. Healing isn't linear, but every small victory matters.

Heavy arms. A heavy trunk. Tenderness. Easy bruising.

If this sounds familiar, I want you to know something...

You're not lazy. You're not imagining it. And it's not always about weight. πŸ’œ

Lipedema is a chronic disease that affects millions of women, yet so many spend years being told to simply eat less and exercise more.

For me, finally getting a diagnosis changed everything. It replaced self-blame with understanding and gave me a path forward.

This graphic is meant to educate, not diagnose. If you've been struggling with symptoms that don't make sense, let your curiosity be stronger than your self-criticism.

✨ You deserve answers.
✨ You deserve to be heard.
✨ You deserve compassionate care.

If this resonates with you, take the free self-assessment and start the conversation with your healthcare provider.

Have you ever been told your symptoms were "just because of your weight?" I'd love to hear your story in the comments.

You're in a safe place here. πŸ’•

Day 12 Post-OpπŸ’œ

Peak swelling is gone! Bruising is almost gone.
Taking it one day at a time.
I'm exited my pumps are coming!

Day 10 Post Op | Legs 360Β° πŸ’œ

Ten days ago, I had high-volume lipedema reduction surgery from hip to ankle with Dr. Solomon Azouz, and approximately 15 liters were removed.
I'm not going to sugarcoat it.
Recovery has been hard.

The past couple of days brought some of the worst swelling I've ever experienced. My legs felt like they were filled with cement, and my skin felt like it had thumbtacks underneath it. There were moments I wondered if I'd ever feel normal again.

But today... today is different.

✨ The bruising is improving.
✨ I sized down in compression.
✨ I took a shower.
✨ I got outside.
✨ And for the first time, I could really start to see the progress.

Healing isn't linear. Some days you'll feel discouraged. Other days you'll catch a glimpse of why you started.
If you're preparing for lipedema surgery, I hope this encourages you to expect both.

The hard days are real, but they don't last forever.
One day at a time. πŸ’œ
